Which Dragon should be the focus after Mord?
2015 Feature Patch: Revamped underwater content/combat. Followed shortly by Largos and DSD content.
Bad@Thief: Kiera Gordon
Sea of Sorrows, a server never before so appropriately named.
I think it would be interesting to go after DSD next. It’s a dragon we are unfamiliar with.
I believe the next most active dragon in line is Jormag.
Though I count on Kralkatorrik (Elona, more about Charr, I love Branded) or, maybe Primordus.

DSD is a far away threat that isn’t really important or relevant now to Tyria (continent). If they go that route and, once again, leave their other plot lines untouched to build new kitten out of nowhere, I’d be kittened.
Kralkatorrik probably still needs time to recover, so I don’t see him coming soon.
Jormag and Primordus are the most active and dire threats to Tyria (continent) as of now, in that order.
So I’m hoping Jormag is next or perhaps Primordus will make an emergence and we will go for that. But currently, Jormag is the biggest threat.
I’d like to see Primordus next with the depths of Tyria being a potential new continent for new zones to fight his armies in (Similar to Blackreach in Skyrim, but bigger and more open). Being able to see more Dwarves would be a must, maybe even a storyline consisting of their curse being broken in order to include them as a playable race.
I would like to see Primordus get involved with putting Mord back to sleep (“Only he can start forest fires.”) and then, if we are to see Cantha expansion first it would be nice to help the Tengu go on a hunt for their homeland.
for god sakes…………………..
can’t we kill all dragons at once IF we have to kill them ????
I am so sick and tired of this repeating stuff.
GW1 had Dragons too and we didn’t have to fight them every 20 minutes and had time for an epic game full of fun

Trahearn does make a comment that the Pact were gearing ready to take down Kralk.
Maybe that’s likely.
Yeah. Probably Kralk, unless they decide to deal with Primodus.
Personally, Primordos would get my vote because the thematic of fire fighting overgrowth (fauna exhales oxygen and oxygen powers fire) could make him grow larger and then become a voracious threat. To be Mord we’d turn to Prim whose thirst is only quenched by the one dragon that creates enough “fuel” to empower him. This wouldn’t mean Prim would be on our side but our role would be insignificant enough that we would go by without his notice as he withers Mord away to the point Mord hides off to “die” or hibernate. It’d be awesome to finally see how EDs react to one another as it was stated, they do not all get along – they just have the same motives.
However, at the same time I do think the Dragon child Glint protected has a role to play still. So I’m just as much skeptical over seeing Prim at that conclusion.
Should we last to Season 4 (I’m finding it questionable at this point in time, truth be told) and presuming that Season 3 will be like Season 1 – a break between Elder Dragons – then I suspect the DSD will be next.
Kralkatorrik is possible because Trahearne says the Pact were preparing for them. Jormag’s picked up in activity and is the second most threatening Elder Dragon (sans the year between Zhaitan’s defeat and Mordremoth’s awakening). However, it seems that Anet prefers “new enemies/plot” instead of going off of pre-established stuff so I don’t see us going after either of those two or Primordus. Thus, DSD.
Lorewise, Jormag and Kralkatorrik would make the most sense. The former is the most active, the latter is still recovering and is “newly” awakened. But I’m sure they’ll come up with some reason for the DSD to attack that can be dumbed down to “ley lines.”
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
I don’t see why all three can’t attack at once. What’s holding back Jormag or the DSD?
This isn’t a wrestling match. They don’t need to take turns. Strategically it would make sense for the remaining Dragons, or at least the active ones that aren’t otherwise occupied, to dogpile now.

I wonder if this wasn’t some dev-insertion going on, essentially them saying well we where planning to do this but you know stuff happens.

Development effort mostly :P
At the rate that ANet develops new content splitting that 3 ways… well… yeah.
They introduced three new factions in LS1, so I don’t think it’s development effort. They could put the same effort into three different dragons in the same season. Not three in the same two weeks, but they could easily alternate.
I know some people hated the new factions, and the way they were all tied ultimately together, but that’s not the point.
