White Mantle resurgence
It’s been around since day 1 as far as I know.
If you want some more white mantle themed stuff check Aurora’s Rest in Brisban. The area has a slightly different joungle flora then the nearby zones, or so I belive and there are ghosts of shining blade and white mantles fighting.
One of the white mantle warriors has an unique helm too. There’s also a champion that you’ll find chanting in front of a wall of thorns. I -suppose- it’s guarding a secondary entrance to the bandit fort just north of that location.
But it’s just personal speculation, mind you.
That symbol is displayed at quite a few bandit camps. It’s not the same as the White Mantle symbol, but it is similar enough, especially with our knowledge that they have some degree of presence within the bandits.

The chanting one is part of an event, he’s the ghost of a major white mantle foe from Gw1. Really he’s guarding nothing, it’s just a wall atm.
As said, that emblem has been around since day 1 and is used for almost all bandit hideouts throughout the game. It’s known that the White Mantle exists, with Jennah pointing the Seraph towards the west (see the Brisban hearts), and from the orphaned storyline, we know that they back the bandits (we also know that, while appearing disjointed, the bandits are a united front allied with centaurs, Inquest, and Nightmare Court, backed by the White Mantle and certain Ministry members including Caudecus, and incorporates street gangs (even rival gangs) into their grunt members, said grunt members seem to be unknowing of the White Mantle presence and “innocently” viewing Jennah as a tyrant).
It’s a wide-spread and well hidden lore front. You’d need to do all human lvl 1-20 storylines, and talk to all the NPCs related to bandits and many of their events (for hearts, talk to NPCs both before and after completing hearts). As well as paying attention to the aesthetics like those emblems.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
