Guild Wars 2

So wandering around Lornar’s Pass today I got this dialogue option with “Researcher Suki”, one of the heart NPC’s.

Me-“I found a shipping log with your name in it”
Suki-“Oh I knew the shipment was taking too long, what happened to it?”
Me-“It was captured by grawl, who now worship the contents”
Suki-“Hmm, Stumm was sending me artificial wind riders…[long sentence about using them to condition norn children]”

Me-"what, why would he do that?

Suki-“Stumm’s [power hungry] so I could see him just doing it for kicks, you’ll have to ask him if you want the full story.”

I don’t remember any shipping logs or seeing any grawl worshippity nonsense in that zone, so I’m not quite sure this is intended, but who is this Stumm person?

I have a feeling it’s some of kind of (inside) joke aimed at John Sutmme, one of the GW2 content designers.

Ha just now noticed this Good find :P

He’s an old male asura from the Order of Whispers. He’s dealt with later in the personal storyline in Orr too. He deals with researchers a lot, but I don’t think we ever actually see him.
