Okay, after reading posts and articles about the supposed “sixth” elder dragon… Who is this guy named Mordremoth? Is he something far more ancient than Primordus or is there something else about him?

Give a man fire, he will be warm, set a man on fire, he will be warm forever! …or dead…

Mordremoth is supposedly the name of the 6th dragon that has some influence over nature and has to do with corruption of plants (Husks, nightmare hounds, poison flowers), and possibly with the distress in the sylvari “Dream” and the nightmare court’s actions. The only one’s that seem to have some information about him are the Inquest and the evidences about that are inside the Crucible of eternity (possibly one of the main and biggest Inquest bases)

Officer of Executed [EXE] from Piken Square.

The reasoning behind the 6th dragon theory is an ability used by Subject Alpha. Check it out here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Subject_Alpha

Also interesting is that “Mordre” is French for “to bite”.

Mordre also shares roots with the latin “mors” meaning death, while the “moth” part could stand for behemoth. So I would translate his name roughly to “Deadly Behemoth”.

You don’t win friends with salad! Sorry I just got caught up in the rhythm.

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

I’m personally very excited at the prospect of getting more information about things such as The Dream and Sylvari mental and physical states, and tying Mordremoth very strongly to Scarlet and specifically her mind definitely leads to that possible conclusion. I wonder if we won’t finally get Pact involvement in trying to take down an Elder Dragon before he gains too much strength…
