Why does revenant have a covered eyes?
Kormir had covered eyes because she didn’t have any eyes. A demon ate them.
The covered eyes for the Revenant is probably because the profession has resemblances to the gw1 Ritualist.

“A few elements of the revenant’s unique mechanics stem from Guild Wars mechanics, such as energy and upkeep. The profession itself bears many similarities to the ritualist from Guild Wars Factions, who could channel spirits from the Mists and often wore blindfolds to help them focus”
ANet may give it to you.
In short, the idea is that if you lose sight of the material realm, the magical or spiritual realm becomes easier to sense.
the class is torn between two realms of existence. (shrugs) that is the way I always assumed it to be anyhow.
Hi,
Revenant was known from 1,5 year or more, but after 1 year I have to ask, why does Rytlock have a covered eyes?
It reminds me about Kormir, but I don’t know.
Same reason as why Ritualists did in GW1 It’s to make it more easy for them to commune with the dead.
See: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/hidden-arcana-role-playing-the-revenant/
Specifically this:
A revenant’s signature blindfold isn’t mandatory, either, as revenants don’t become blind as a natural result of their profession. Most of them only wear a blindfold as a tool to help them commune with the legends, who are able to perceive the world through their own senses.
The description for at least one of the blindfolds when creating a new Revenant says something along the lines of the fact that blocking out the sight of the physical world makes it easier to see / commune with the legends. That’s probably as close to a “lore” reason as you’ll get.
