how did you get your elite spec (role play)
I repeatedly whacked mordem with a stick and said it was fun. (Thief)
Plot Twist: Elder Dragons are massive robots created by the Black Lion Trading Company.
Think of the money they make off weapons and armor…
The sole surviving member of the House of Ashe and heiress to a great fortune, Dawn sampled delicacies from all over Tyria. Ordinary cooking no longer interested her; more adventurous culinary experience was in order. Over the course of a few months she imbibed Cuatl goo, lab-grown meat, a chewy flower, and elixir looted from an Asuran corpse. But it was when she swallowed a poisonous bacon (to go with the mango pie from a kindly stranger) that something changed inside. Dawn felt the ability of ordinary speech slipping away, replaced by an increasingly irresistible urge to burst into song. She glided to the highest pillar of Tarir and screamed at the demoralized Pact soldiers below, scrambling away from advancing Mordrems:
“Are you READY TO ROCK?”
Blowing a wicked tune from an Exalted warhorn that happened to lie around, she continued:
“Welcome to Maguuma, friend.
Come on, soldier, take my hand:
Here there’s no easy prey;
Only worthy foes to slay.
There’s just five words to say
As you march on, on, on:
“They’re gonna feel the burn!
Oh, feel the burn!”
She couldn’t believe the inferno all fired up inside. Without even trying she flooded the eye of the storm. It’s up to her to protect and to heal and to shield. In the eyes of her friends she saw hope as the pain washed away…
And so on and so forth. (I’ll show myself out.)
I was always at home in nature and had been a regular volunteer at the hospital in Shaemoor. When the Pact called us to raise arms against Zhaitan, my pet and I went with it to help those who were on the front lines.
The failure of the Pact in Verdant Brink and the tragedies I witnessed at the hands of the Mordrem Guard as well as the entire units that were ripped apart by local fauna was a stark reminder that as a Commander and a leader I needed to be a beacon of support. I needed to provide not only morale and a battlefield presence, but a hand on the shoulder that says “You are not alone, we have your back.”
I discovered some ruins early into my exploration of Verdant Brink that outlined ancient methods of utilizing nature and the Lunar forces to affect the world around me. Following the trails to other crumbling buildings, I found ways to act as a font for the rejuvenating energy of a heavenly body, a Celestial Avatar if you will, to channel that power in assistance of my fellow fighters. In this instant I realized what needed to be done.
I cast aside the longbow that had served me so well for so long. Fashioning a staff from a petrified tree in the ruins, I meditated through the days and nights and practiced the forms and magics that I had seen on the walls.
When I returned, I went first to an enclave of soldiers struggling to survive the brutal assaults while establishing a safe zone for the evacuation of the wounded. They saw me, relieved that their Commander was still alive, but were not prepared for my next statement.
“There will be no more evacuations. We stand our ground here.”
These hardened veterans were battle-tested and disciplined, but seeing their brethren’s wounded bodies was taking its toll and they began to dissent. My response?
“Bring the wounded to me. We have suffered greatly here, and that ends today. I will be the rock upon which we build our fortress here, and you will be the spears that strike out against our foe. We stop surviving this very moment. Right now, we begin thriving.”
With that, I ordered the unit leaders to organize the engineers to build walls and defenses and stepped into the makeshift infirmary to use the magics I felt coursing through me. The Moon was full, and I was tired of seeing these soldiers fall. The night may be dark, but there are many sources of light.
If you know where to look.
“Beware he who would deny you access to information,
for in his heart he dreams himself your master.”
A menu appear in front of me asking me to use my 290 hero points to train some kind of new skills. As I was trying to fight Teq. Weird thing is, Teq got burned faster after I fully trained and got 2 chests for training. Then the menu disappear and Teq was dead. Hmmmmmm
My tempest didn’t change. Chronomancer I don’t really play at all.
My reaper, in my mind was once my Mesmer.
His power shifted to darkness after being revived post-Orr. (He got hit hard).
During this time he focused on curse magic as opposed to straight necromancy, and because I was crafting bifrost in my mind I made it so that when he gained access to the power of the Jotun star, his command over shadow and cold grew.
