Guild Wars 2

Could anyone tell me or link me some background story on legendary weapon The Predator because like today someone asked me about its story and i have been having it for 5 months and i dont know anything about its story other than how to craft it :P

I did read on some previous topics it to be a prototype legion weapon but dont know if it legit or not

we don’t have lore on legendary weapons yet. i think they have plans to add little tomes with lore when you craft the weapon or something, but nothing in-game yet.

There is some lore on the weapons i am sure having read a topic here or on reddit about them.

Anyway, they all have flavour text on them and looking for their names in the GW or GW2 wiki might reveal some of their orgin.

for example the “Flameseekers Prophecy” legendary shield could be representing the prophecy, etc.

However many are up for speculation (aside the fact that they are clearly there to be joke weapons… i am looking at you Anet-Pony-Bow)

nope, i remember one thread about that.
It was mostly speculation derived from the item name and the text on it. So no real origin or so, but i just cant find it
