He’ll be against us.

Back in Guild Wars 1, after he finished helping us and we set him free, he said it was only a one time thing, and he would go back to being evil. It was in the “Crossing the Sulfurous Desert” mission where we turn into the giant wurms, he says that in the ending cinematic.

So my vote is on him being one of the bosses in personal storyline for the Elona expansion… if we ever get it -_-

He would be neutral to us, unless we are actively trying to depose him. The Elder Dragons are just as much as a threat to him, and the land he rules, as they are too everyone else.

As long as you stay out of his way, he couldn’t care less what some goody two-shoes wannabe hero is doing.

Joko is a baddie for sure but he’s not totally evil. He’s not into a blind killing spree nor is trying to gain more power for power sake : his only goal has always been to seize and hold possession of Elona. Now that he effectively rules Elona, he hasn’t tried to expand this territory possibly because of the ED awakening but more likely because he doesn’t want to.
So if we ever step foot in Elona, I guess he won’t do us any harm as long as we don’t try to intervene in his ruling.

But, correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t he take over Elona after GW1?

He did. Sometime after GW1, he marched his forces into Vabbi, where he dammed the Elon River and diverted it into, what I assume is, the Desolation. Vabbi had to surrender, or they would risk death by starvation/famine. Kourna and Istan followed soon after.

I wonder how he is taking the death of Zhaitan though. Who is going to play Zombies vs. Zombies with him now?

He was funny in the same twisted way Thorn is funny, which often results in bad endings for the subject of the joke.
Yes, he indeed took over Elona about 60 years after the events of GW1 (I guess we waited our PC to be dead^^) by diverting the Elon river from its original course, thus inducing a famine, which resulted in Vabbi, Kourna and Istan surrendering.

To add to his post, yes the Elon river was indeed diverted into the Desolation rendering it and part of the Crystal Desert fertile.

Maybe he’s in the Crystal Desert fighting the Elder Dragon.
