Guild Wars 2

Is it just me, or are the patch notes for the second season finale really short? I get keeping spoilers for story to a minimum, but man this seems like a really small patch for the final patch in season 2. Even with the recently spoiled Heart of Thorns info, this seems like its just another mid-season patch and not the finale.

The notes are short but the patch seems pretty large. I’m 62% in with 2120 files remaining.

I noticed that too. I guess content will revolve around the new boss and what is in the cave, but that’ll be it.

Since the main events will probably take place in story instances I really don’t see how much more they can say without spoiling stuff.

The amount of letters in a patch notes usually have rather little to do with how big the patch actually is.

Can’t update atm, but by the patch notes it looks terrible!

If the update is indeed very short, it begs the question about why they couldn’t just release it concurrently with the Wintersday update rather than make us wait an entire month. Also considering that the Wintersday meta could be completely within a matter of hours unless you were going for the infinite avhievements.

I still need to look up Scarlet finale patch notes, but iirc it was a lot longer than this finale’s.
