1. We will get Queens Jubilee and the White Mantle will disturb it. Caudecus will try to usurp the Krytan throne but we will save the day. The Jubilee will bring back the Crown Pavillion, along with all we hate and love about it, only Liadri will be further nerfed so everyone gets the mini.
2. We will discover that Rytlock met Prince Rurik in the mist and got his Ok to free the ascalonian Ghosts. Rytlock does so by channeling Rurik and performing the ritual again.
3. Taimii is the mysterious Asura messing with Fraktals, maybe its Bizarroworld- or Future-Taimii.
4. If it should not be Taimii, it’s prob our Asura characters from an alternate universe.
5. No new WvW Season/Event/Whatsoever.
6. 6 Months from now, they will have nerfed the Raid so everybody and their mothers can do it.

So no jubilee celebrating 10 years of rule, but the Pavillion. Maybe it will be more like the next festival and not part of the first LS3 release. There’s the Queen’s Juilale in the brewmaster collection, that’s mostly why i think we could see it again. Plus part of the story is heading towards Kryta and there’s something to celebrate.
…And i really want to test myself against Liadri again, preferably not nerfed, better if returned to original difficulty even.

I predict I might miss my cousin’s wedding on Saturday.
And also that annoying covered piece of map between TD and Metrica gets explored. I hate covered pieces in the middle of explored areas, boohoo.
Some people will flood the forums with posts about how awful the update is less than 10 minutes after it drops despite having done nothing more than read the patch notes (if that)
Some people will flood the forums with unrelated posts bemoaning the lack of new legendaries (as if most of the people complaining have enough money or time to get all of them anyway)
Some people will legitimately enjoy the content and post a little bit about that, but most of the comments on it will be people complaining that they still don’t have enough to do in the game instead of actually playing the game.
And finally, in a week’s time, there will be another post about how the content drought is back because people don’t understand that creating things takes time and how they’d rather have poorly planned and rushed content delivered every two weeks than a more reasonable, quality-filled pace.

Why do ppl on the forums like to predict things about the ppl on the forums?
Not that you’re wrong. Of course there will be the usual “That’s all?”, “X is so broken!!!” and “What? I’m supposed to play the content to get the rewards?” threads. And of course there will be a vocal minority on here complaining that they no-lifed this first chapter along with the new fractal and the new PvP mapwithin a few hours. Not hard to predict this.

I think Canach and Lady Anise might have some sort of plot against Kryta. If you listened to their side dialogue during LW2, it seemed rather suspicious. Like during the World Summit quest where you can overhear Canach say “I will be your blade” (or somewhere along those lines) to Lady Anise. It’s also noted that she is much older than she appears, as stated by Canach. Also, at the end of the LW3 trailer, a male voice says “They will carry me all the way to the throne of Kryta.” It’s hard to pinpoint the voice, but I thought it sounded like Canach when I first heard it.
The two seem really suspicious and Lady Anise was not even in the Heart of Thorns story as far as I remember. Either way, with a title of “Out of the Shadows,” it heavily implies an overlooked character taking a grand stand. I’m quite excited to see who they’re referring to.

I am predicting that this comment will make me cringe in disgust when I have to navigate another walls/updraft/jumping puzzle maze like map again.
I also predict that i will be complaining in general and moan about the lack of Tengu and the instanced nature with the brutally stupid gain of equipment like in ls2 again.
Sadly I also predict that I will still be playing it…

Hmmm, I missed the twitter post. I’m glad I just finished this track on my main account, and started working through it on my second. Just lacking ley-line gliding on that one.

The Episode will start in that tavern in Divinity’s Reach where DE2.0 celebrate their new name. In the middle of it all hell breaks lose, the White Mantle start their attack on the Queen killing both her and Logan. We then have to defeat the Mantle to ascend Cashmere to the throne ( and killing Caudecus along the way, who was transformed into some brainless monster).
And I will enjoy reading the bashing between Cashmeresupporters vs ppl who think removing the only heterosexual couple is a bad idea. :-P

In a thread discussing the trailer, one poster said that the German version of the trailer definitely has the German Caudecus’ voice actor doing that line. I’ve listened to the English line compared to recordings of Caudecus at the end of CM Story and I believe it’s the same man there.
So I’m predicting an attempted (or even successful) coup, along with insurrection in the streets of DR. If that doesn’t happen, all my nascent plans/ideas for RP impact on my alts will have to be tossed out
I was wrong about chaos in DR, it seems. Heck, I just went into the Throne Room and got the same dialogue from Jennah and Anise we’ve had since launch. That’s long been my gripe, that world-changing events aren’t reflected in the ambiance and interactions.
There’s still room for the chaos, all those propaganda posters suggest story will happen in the core maps (along with the conflict observed at the end of the current LS3 chapter, at least one party to that conflict wants to cause Kryta grief). After all, ANet can’t even put in important thread tie-ups (Malyck) thanks to the need to keep things down to core essentials and pacing. Why would they have spent time writing and posting those broadsheets if they weren’t going to be plot-relevant?
