There’s only two episodes left of Living World Season 3 and there’s been no sign of my favorite character anywhere.

See, here’s the thing: in the story we know why she’s been absent since after HoT. No, I wouldn’t call what info we have on her from Episode 1 to be actual updates on her condition because 1) it all amounts to hearsay and 2) we (the player character) haven’t laid our eyes on her like we got to with Logan in Episode 4.

However, I have a feeling the reason she hasn’t shown up at all in Living World Season 3 has more to do with voice actor availability (or lack thereof in this case). I’m gonna come out and say it: Felicia Day sure doesn’t seem very invested in the character and as much as I like the character, it’s hard for me to stay invested when its clear the VA isn’t invested. Even before Felicia Day got pregnant she didn’t seem that invested in voicing Zojja, as was indicated in Season 2.

Honestly, I think it’s high time to find a VA that’s willing to voice Zojja, someone who WANTS to voice her.

I’d ask someone from Anet what’s going on with Zojja but I know they’re not going to tell me anything. Sadly, this radio silence I feel like does as much damage as hyping things up.

So the only thing I can do is make a topic like this one where I get my feelings off of my chest, vent some of my frustrations, (much to my chagrin) probably have people come in this topic and rain on my parade about them hating Zojja when they could make their own topic about how much they hate her, and maybe (hopefully) meet some fellow Zojja sympathizers in this topic in the process so I don’t feel so alone in my frustrations.

Also, yes, my forum signature does, in fact, check out.

I like Zojja; I’d like to see her back. I’m not particular about who voices the character.

I’ve considered the idea that maybe what’s happening to her is kinda the opposite of what Logan’s going through. Like, her body is fine, but her mind is deteriorating.

Can you imagine how devastating that would be for an Asura like her?

I agree, we haven’t heard from Zojja since we rescuse her from HoTs.
Same goes to the Pale Tree.......

The new Caladbolg questline (only accessible on characters that have defeated Mordremoth in the Heart of Thorns storyline) talks about the Pale Tree and I think you interact with her too.

Also, we only just learned about Logan in episode 4, so there’s a chance (however slim) that we might hear from Zojja in either this episode or the next. That does, however, depend on ArenaNet either getting Felicia day or someone else to voice act Zojja though. But hopefully we’ll at least hear about her status in the next episode.

I like Zojja for multiple reasons:
1) She’s an asura (like my main)
2) She’s an Ele (like my main)
3) She’s a Synergetics Student (like my main)
4) In the personal Story she is by far the best written Mentor character among all races, and the german VA Stephanie Kindermann (I’m not native; I play with german VO) did her very best to underline that. I’ve had so many laughs just when she dropped a line.

Sadly in Season 2 the German VA changed to a person with a much higher voice making Zojja sound more like a 12-year-old rather than an experienced war veteran who faced down an elder dragon.

I’d love to hear something from Zojja. Much like with the announcement from the Queen when Logan was hospitalized they don’t actually need a VA to keep a character alive. A blog post can do a lot of work. It’s kinda sad that they basically doubled up on Logan (Blog Post & Live Episode Entrance), yet Zojja still got nothing. I just hope they don’t have to kill one of their best Characters just because there’s noone willing to voice her.

While I can’t stand Zojja (sorry @ OP), I do agree that we need to find out what is going on with her. I am sure another voice actor could jump in to do the part. People wouldn’t mind.

However, I have a strong feeling that we will see Zojja again by the end of S3. Just like no one expected we’d get to see Logan again, I am quite certain they will involve Zojja in the S3 story at some point.

I want to hope that we well but I doubt it will happen. If it doesn’t happen though I’ll still be there to remind Anet what they said in the State of the Game 2016 article regarding Living World Season 3 (yes, I have it bookmarked).
