About Ember Bay.
Will it have new resources? Probably not.
Will it have at least one new pet? Probably not.
Will we we be able to swim and fight creatures in the ocean? Possibly but it won’t be a major component of the zone.
Since then we’ve had a joke of a jungle without lakes and rivers were frogs have to live in trees and don’t even know how to swim.
You do know that tree frogs exist in real life right?
Please discuss!!!
If want to properly discuss something try to it in a constructive way instead of coming across as being very negative.
Why discuss it? You will find out in 4 days anyways
You can swim and fight creatures in Tangled Depths, so it’s not been 3 years and however many months. Thus, it’s possible there will be underwater combat in the new map. Though, with the new Gliding Skills, I’d guess there would be more focus there.
Whatever the new map offers, as noted above, we will find out soon.
They did emphasise the map being the first seaside map since lost shores, which is a giod sign.
I have found Southson to be uniquely laggy underwater compared to any other area in the game. I hope any underwater sections, if any, arent as bad
Will it have new resources?
Will it have at least one new pet?
Will we we be able to swim and fight creatures in the ocean?
I ask the last question because we haven’t had water zones added since Southsun Cove
on November 18, 2012. Since then we’ve had a joke of a jungle without lakes and rivers were frogs have to live in trees and don’t even know how to swim. Now that Ember Bay is coming on a Fire Island Chain surrounded by the Ocean, no less. Are we finally after 3 years and 10 months going back to the water? Unless of course the water is boiling hot and we would die, which of course would be another lame excuse not to go for a swim or create water content. Please discuss!!!
You do realize that rivers and lakes are not requisites for a jungle to be a jungle, right?

What you see on TV or in movies is not representative of everything that is out in the real world.
Or you could just wait for the patch and find out.
You an also look at the screen shots of Ember Light Camp in GW1. The skulls look familiar don’t they.

Whether there’s underwater combat doesn’t affect me, I just don’t want hearts to return. They really aren’t enjoyable.

Tree frogs are a real thing. The Itzel look like tree frogs. They have the colours and the basic shape. Tree frogs don’t live in water and only spawn their tadpoles in the cups of leaves that catch water high in jungle canopies. They are also poisonous…like the Itzel are poison masters. See the connection?
