Second character to do Episode 2, but that character’s first time. I got two achievements completed – “Mess with the Bull” and “Fire for Effect”.

Is this a new thing or a bug?

Happened to me a few days ago as well.

I got Fire for Effect on a first run through on the 2nd alt doing it. However I was in a group, helping someone totally new to the LS chapter, and others in the group were on alts that had finished the whole thing, so I figured it was due to that. On the other hand on the same run-through others got the speed-run-Concordia achieve but I did not.

No working as intended as far as I can tell. After completing the episode with any character it unlocks the achievements so any subsequent playthroughs allows for achievements to be gained.

I got those two as well on my second character doing Episode 2. I did not get any of the other achieves though, and I know I completed “No Tricks” like I was suppose to.

I know “On Swift Wings” is definitely bugged and will be fixed with the next patch on the 29th. I will try to replay on the other character who has completed after the patch and see if I can get the “No Tricks” then.

meh… I’ve done (and re-done) the entire story on 5 80s now. Bugged or not bugged, I’ve been unable to complete most of the Concordia and Fort Salma achievements. I understand they might be feasible in a group, but seriously, it’s a PERSONAL story arc… I’d like stuff that I can complete solo, pottering about in my own time, without having to wait endlessly to get a group and/or for that group to get ready and/or endless strategy discussions. It’s been an exercise in frustration so far.

Those two particular achievements are bugged and were awarding even though you might not be doing them on a character who’d already completed the LS.

Wish all the LS achievements would get updated to work like that, honestly.
