Upon viewing the wallpaper/concept art, I was deeply intrigued and excited about this tan, mysterious, edgy-looking norn. Naturally, when the living story missions were released, I immediately went to play them and see this sessy mofo in action.

What. Happened???

His model looks nothing like the released concept art! I don’t want to come off too picky, and I do get that things can change from the artist’s drawing board to the final modeler’s interpretation, but it really made me feel like they didn’t even try. Is it too optimistic to wonder if perhaps there will be a bit of model changes when the rest of his living story and cut scenes come out on the 30th? Am I the only one bothered by this??!

I like how he looks in the concept art but his ingame model looks chunky and his hair is a mess.

I just started the living story content and I saw the Braham model. I immediately came to the forum to see if anyone else echoed my thoughts.

I didn’t have to search long. My God. He looks ridiculous. I couldn’t help but laugh. He doesn’t look like a Norn. He looks like a reject from a Bananarama concert circa 1985. All he needs is leg warmers and a pink headband. Nobody in the character design department pulled somebody aside and said lets think about this for awhile? I mean, Trahearne might have been a massive dork, but at least he looked fine. Braham… yeah. Somebody was sipping on the Everclear at ol’ ArenaNet when that got pushed through QA, me thinks.

His hair is the only thing that bugs me. I’m not a fan of the pink emo thing over one eye. :P

actually I think that he looks exactly like the artwork and I love his look. I love the untypical face, yay for a new face-type (is it accessible in the character creator?) and yay for a new hairstyle (same question).

More variety is good, I would have hated it if they had used an existing face/hairstyle again. Roxx on the other hand… it looks like an existing option but with extreme slider-usage. Correct me if I’m wrong.

He was probably a hippie living it large with his pops until the invasion happened and all his drinking buddies were taking away, giving him a reason to go emo.

Maybe. At least he has more excuse than the typical krytan teenager.
