I noticed that the Sclerite Weapon Claim Ticket vendor is still in Pearl Islet, so is it still possible to get tickets to purchase the skins? Since they aren’t selling crates on the store page I’m curious as to if the crates are still obtainable.

Personally, I think it would be a good idea to keep the crates dropping as it actually would give some purpose as to why anyone would ever want to go to that zone in the future.

I got one yesterday after the main patch. Seems that if they are still there, then the drop rate is greatly reduced.

Yeah they are still droppable, and so are the apothecary exotic jewels in SSC.
I got a couple of crates and jewels from farming there, I dunno if it’s a bug or it is intended and if these crates can still loot minis and tickets or only craps.

The drop rate is not reduced. It’s just impossible to get the free +200% magic find as before, so you get less of them.

That is most likely correct. However stating the drop rate is not reduced is a bit bold unless you were responsible for writing that code. Might as well be a double-hit with losing the MF buff and the drop rate being reduced.

I like the idea actually, makes it really unlikely to get them but if someone’s life depends on getting such a skin, he can farm his heart out.

Since there’s nothing in the patch notes saying that the drop rate of the Southsun Crates was reduced, we can assume that they remained the same.

if they intentionally left the sclerite-chests to stay, will dragon-coffers stay too? I doubt it since they drop everywhere, but it would be kind of nice if there would be a chance that these still drop on a lower frequency (like the black lion chests).

I doubt the dragon coffers stay as drops but Dragon Bakitten most likely a recurring festival, so you get them in the trading post throughout the year until the supplies are replenished next June.

Lol. Dragon Bakitten. How I do love the forum censor. Not only does it see dirty words everywhere but it makes you see the hidden dirty words you would never have seen otherwise.

That one made me laugh out loud for some reason.
