do you think Asclaon is, or even should “heal” to like it was pre-searing? Or are the effects of the searing irreversible?

Seems to be getting better.

Ascalon has already healed remarkably well over the last 250 years. I’d wager that in another couple of hundred years, it’ll be as if the Searing had never happened (aside from the ruins of the Great Wall and the odd Searing crystal still scattered here and there).

This is one of the top two things I would love to see happening as part of the Living Story. The other would be rebuilding the Owl Lodge, though I’m pretty sure something like that would only be possible after killing Jormag and silencing the Sons of Svanir.

yeah this would be cool and it could open up some more options for the norn in terms of lore and maybe a few skills involving the owl spirit but that would take a lot of work. i hope it happens though

but yeah fixing the temple would be cool, or in iron marches where you are besieging the wall, after a few years the wall dissapears!
