As the title says,..

Will the new armor be account or soulbound?
Or… Will I need a second tailor or can I use a single tailor for all alts?

I would imagine it’s exactly like the weapons. They will be account bound.

I just crafted an Ascended Shortbow for my alt the other day. Nothing unfriendly about it.

hope they are cheaper to make then weapons since you gotta craft more of them

also hope they can drop forthe people who dont craft

I just crafted an Ascended Shortbow for my alt the other day. Nothing unfriendly about it.

The weapons are considered alt unfriendly due to the time gating of the materials. If you want multiple characters to have weapons you have to wait multiple days due to the cooldown on the materials needed.

Combine this with the fact that most players use more than just one weapon per character and you are looking at several weeks to get all of the weapons that you use regularly on all of your characters.

Ask rest of us who have +3 characters. +/-3 weapons for every character one per +/-2 weeks x 4 characters (if you have 4 characters and i know lot of people who have) = +/-24 weeks of weapon crafting. This is extremely alt unfriendy and armor will be much more terible.
PS: You have to craft every day otherwise you can delay completion greatly.

expect all prices of all mats to skyrocket again

Oh ok. I get it now. I have 5 characters personally. It does take a long time to craft, especially if you are limited to 4 hours or so of playtime a day. It took me until just this week to finally get all the mats I needed for that short bow.

IDK if I’ll ever get a full set of Ascended Armor on 1 of my toons let alone all 5, but I sure as kitten will be trying!

It’s times like these that make me extremely happy I only PvE with my ele, so I only need one weapon and one piece of each armor slot…
