When I first read that text in game, I was wondering what was so great about things that devour babies o.O

I would also like to have one.

Yeah…I love little details like this…in the instances/stories we do…

It added a bit of flavour to the mission and was extremely adorable. <3

Never before have I said “Aww…that thing is so cute” when I saw something in a video game, but when I saw that thing I just had to.

I think it is ugly, but in a very cute way. It is like those really ugly dogs that a lot of people still think is absolutely adorable.
I want a baby devourer too.

I never thought much of them before, but that baby one was very cute and I enjoyed its behaviour in the story mission.

God, I tried so hard to tame it. But, of course, it liked Rox more.

That was a very important plot device the way I see it, come a few months time and we will see Rox and the that pet form a bond like Eir/Garm. It was nice to see how it begins and as for the cuteness I agree. It’s the eyes, those huge black soulless cute eyes.

Yeah. I’m looking forward to them developing the ranger pet relationship in the story. I’m glad they showed us one from the beginning so we can hopefully see it develop. Right now it’s kind of hanging around, hopefully it will prove its worth and maybe even be the hero that saves the day in the future. When creating my ranger, the little back story about your first pet and how long you two had been together was really important to me. It’s great to see an NPC ranger get the same kind of attention.

I have a feeling someone/something from the Molten Alliance is going to kill the pet and Rox will go crazy.

It’s adorable In a very creepy way, yes, but still adorable. Especially because its face looks like one of these tiny spiders…
Also, seconding the notion of a minipet as well as a backpack cover.

Is this game planning to cater children, girls and who find content “cute”?
Don’t misunderstand me, i like the baby quaggan (not surely wearing one with my necro, let’s not add it glitches with my armor lol) , i loved the wintersday toys (spawned the mini plush griffon 2 times). But seriously.. a fantasy mmo , we would ask a mini Shatterer , uber dark and cool shiny weapons, etc and we talk about baby devourer and asking Anet to give them to us.. jeezz….

I actually expected to get a baby devourer pet. How foolish of me.

I wish this game was like Skyrim so I could either pickpocket Rox/Braham’s unique weapon skins and Brahm’s armor, or kill them and take the stuff.

I loved Rox’s dialogue with the devourers. She sounded just like a mama! So cute. Would love a skin or mini of the lil one.

Great personality put into much of the writing in the game in general. Awesome writing!

Unfortunately I already have a few Devourer pets and I think they wouldn’t take kindly to another rival for my Ranger’s affections. XD

Rox had more interesting dialogue with her pet than anything or anyone else.
