Q:
Bitterfrost Frontier Map
I just use the underwater route. Free Unbound Magic and no mobs, unless you engage them. Takes about 30 seconds.
The map is small and very easy and quick to travel across with all the options they give. Extra wps would devalue the tubes and leylines which in turn would devalue the masteries. Some of the HoT areas have the same or greater distances to travel between waypoints and Silverwastes is much, much worse. Neither have suffered long term.
The bitter cold elixir does have a guide, but it is currently bugged for some ppl. Once the story is completed, it appears where the story indicator was in the top right. This is how I go what I needed, however there is a known bug which they are working on to fix this for those who aren’t seeing this. The bugs forum gives more info on it and a workaround.
Personally, I’d rather have waypoints like this. It makes no sense that waypoints are in random places, especially hostile places. If vines could destroy them, surely something else could, thus waypoints should only exist near settlements. Instead of all those waypoints, they should bring back shrines, allowing you to respawn at either the nearest or last seen. Then they could add event-specific shrines with auto revivals (at bosses).

However, they should be largely invisible to the dragons and their minions thanks to Phlunt’s patented real-time waypoint efficiency boosts.
