Blood?
Game is rated Teen. I believe showing blood would make that rating too low.

Yeah blood effects require a higher rating. Honestly they don’t add anything to the game and they often look more like a cheap visual effect rather than something convincing. I much prefer it without.
There is some blood when using certain skills on Risen Hands in Orr.

I’m not sure that applying blood in game like GW2 would affect rating of this game,
as it can be count among effects. Some enemies are turned into liquid on death, that
can be easily taken as blood.
With GW2 graphical style it would fit just fine, like strokes of the paint brush.
And you can’t miss when your hp drops low, screen gets red, drawing some
resemblance of bleeding.
Don’t know why this is posted in the Living World section, but way way back before launch they said that if they added a blood effect it would kick the game up to M. Hence why instead we get the lovely “red hit effect”

BS, in WoW when you use skills like garrote or rupture blood spews all over the place. This isn’t the 90’s where a few blood splatters earns a game a M rating.

Honestly it’s because while the rating system DOES do some good, it’s archaic but games are forced to abide by it.
Of course that also depends on how much blood we’re talking.

But then again WoW looks a bit like a cartoon, whilst GW2 have a much more realistic graphic.
