About the Jumping Puzzles, honestly, it’s a level 80 map.

I used to play on an old laptop, and I couldn’t play WvW or high level pve content because my laptop would die – did I whine to anet that it’s not fair? No I didn’t.

Now for you guys who do have a good PC and still complain – breathe. Take it slow. You are developing a skill, stop complaining that you can’t do it. Like playing the piano, you have to take it slow at first, and ignore the people who can do it easily. Visualize where you’re going.

Aside from the LS, most of the platforming isn’t even required – just jump down when you get to dry top, and then you can access most of the map from there aside from one high jump which isn’t that bad.

Patience people, learn.

Some people are conditioned to following the blue tag and pressing 1 for profit, don’t be too kitten them… This map is small, but nicely packed with challenges and content, me likey. We need moar.

edit: the kitten part is “on hard”, reversed.

largely agree (and enjoy the aspects), but due to the fact jumping puzzles and slow frame rates/rubber-banding don’t mix, it probably wasn’t wise to gate the very first new zone of the very first release with it.

i really like it…..but a really large group (maybe most, maybe not) hate JPs. Thus, maybe designing the zone to at least allow you to get to the waypoints by foot, and using the aspects to further explore the zone/ complete events.

still, i love that this isn’t just another zone of orr or southsun, but has dynamic mechanics. so kudo to anet for taking that leap.

Is the puzzle as difficult as Mad King Clock Tower? I don’t want to be coming home from work stressed out to have to deal with constant failure.

not even close…..it’s more comparable to getting to the top of the zypher ship

They were the same thing for me. Not even close to doable. No thanks.

just to clarify, i meant getting to the upper area that had the rope bridge that let you go on the ship……….not jumping up to the top masts of the ship itself (more difficult and similar to the actual JP in the new zone that leads to the goggle achieve).
