I read some of the post around ppl keep bringing up Canach so much that I need to say this
You guys forget him, Canach story is tied of Consortium story.
Consortium story was a madeup story to justify selling infinite gathering materials. Anet say that here
Even that Consortium story was in paralel with Flame and Frost living story this dont mean is a part of the plot. The main living story back then was introducing Braham and Rox. During the entire living story Cahach was on and off again but this can be said about thowse quaguans, some refugees and random npcs, just they are not massively know by ppl. Probably by now even Kiel and Evon are done with the living story, they are in charge of LA and we are miles away. So please stop shoe horn Canach in everything.
Can we kill Marjory and replace her with Canach?

I’m not sure that Canach’s story is done. If you visit his cell in the Vigil Keep and speak to the NPCs around there it sounds like there could be some changes in store for him.
Lion’s Arch have this system in place (called buying a billet) where you can essentially rent a prisoner for the duration of their sentence – you pay a fee to the city and they come to work for you. Canach’s billet has been purchased by “Some official from Divinity’s Reach” and no one, even the officer in charge of him, seems to know much about it.
It may not amount to anything significant, but if you’ve played through any of the human storyline you’ll know there are some pretty shady officials in that city.
To be honest with you, I’d trade the lot of DE 2.0 for Canach. I’ll take Batman over the Justice League any day of the week.
Actually if you talk to him he mentions he’s being let go soon because someone is buying his billet.
