I remember the first time i got the Totem Axe in GW1. It was amazing , my first “green” weapon, and this living story is now in that old area.

Well, we’re close. The Falls is still a ways to the west, but I imagine we’ll get there.

I could get behind this. I have some fond memories of farming these things (was rarely successful, and never got one of the fans). With the small amount of in-game skins being added every episode, I think it would fit pretty well.

The totem axe was kinda mythical because of the +20% enchantment mod it had (a rather uncommon thing for a 1h warrior weapon IIRC) rather than its skin which was unimpressive for me.

What would be awesome….is to have many of the special GW1 weapons start showing up in GW2 as ancient weapons. Maybe through quests or helping NPC explorers search for them. I remember the fun i had getting Kerrsh’s staff.

There are already a few GW1 weapons that came back as exotics. I use a faux Voltaic Spear on my mesmer and a faux Froggy Scepter on my necro for example.

I just got my first one of those yesterday doing vanquisher.

The Forgotten Fan from The Falls would also be nice too, along with a few of the other GW1 skins that did not port over.

That said, the most likely source will be the gem store, as a standalone or as a created-set.

I love the fans. After WoC, I now have my mesmer wielding two fans!

Still waiting on my fave skins, Shadow weapons, to make a comeback. Maybe after they decide to bring the gods back, with the reintroduction of the Underworld!
