I’m so tired of all the complaining, mine included. There has to be something fun in game, everywhere I go all anyone does is complain.
Really tired of it, and I can’t be the only feeling that way. Even the big Anet fanbois and girls are complaining. I keep hearing “..it’s like they want us to stop playing”.
What gives? Frack, I’m complaining about complaining.. just shoot me..
I don’t spend all my time in one area or another. Dry Top is fun, as are a number of other areas. If you just spend your time rigorously playing in one single location forever, of course you’ll get bored. Spice it up.
If you’ve already “beaten the game” and have “nothing else to do”, then I suggest playing another fabulous game as there are many out there, to tide you over until the next chapter is released.
(I use quotes because while I’ve been playing since the headstart I still don’t understand how people have sucked dry all of the content in the game. Maybe I just take things slower than others who blast through everything.)
Depends what type of gamer you are. If you are hardcore and you got map completion and legendaries on all your characters in 3 months then yeah, there’s not much you can do except leveling a new character or try a different game. But that’s not specific to GW2, this happens to every game.
I’m a casual player, after one year I still didn’t even scratch the surface of the game altho I play almost daily, so there’s plenty of stuff for me to do even without new content. Tho I must say the new zone got me so invested I got all my achievements already for it after 48h of release.
Bottom line, if you like a game at it’s core and you have good friends to play with, then new content shouldn’t be a priority. But humans like changes, that’s why players switch games after a while or come back. You don’t need to force yourself to like it.
I found an easy solution, for today at least. I guested on another server I used to frequent. What a difference, I ran with people and had fun the entire time. As soon as I get enough gems and they have room (it’s full now) I’m transferring. Til then I can guest.
