After I finished the story, I decided to see how it would look if repeated it: I saw the different instances, and thought that was great and all, but is there no way to ‘cancel’ or get out of the living story in this repeatable mode? Or do I have to go through the entire thing so that it will say I’ve completed it again?

Have you tried logging out and then back in?

You can’t cancel it unfortunately. They should fix that.

Yeah this was an oversight. I want to get rid of the green star, but now it looks like I need to play through the whole thing again. Hopefully they can add a toggle.

Would this issue be addressed by going to the story journal and toggling back to the regular personal story?

I won’t have a chance to test it myself for awhile as I’m traveling and haven’t had time to play all the way through once yet, but throwing it out there in case it helps.

Nah I tried clicking a few of the different tabs, and no dice.

Thanks for the replies, at least I confirmed with you guys that right now there’s no way of cancelling the current ‘story’.

Seems like if you do it once more, all the green stars become purple. From this point on, you can pick and choose which instance you desire to do, instead of having to do it like it was the first time
