I just watched the wooden potatoes vlog and he came up whit a great point.
We dont have cames in gw2 jet because of clipping. Hovever no game exist in the mmorpg gener that has no clipping at all. The question is how much clipping is acceptable ?

Would you guys rather have perfect low clipping capes some time down the line or a cape whit modrerate clipping werry soon.

Personaly i would like to get one cape model at least right now. Maybe a guild cape, no matter the clipping and we can see the thing evolve maybe ? Getting less clippy every few mounts. Capes were such a huge gw1 part that i and a lot of my friends really miss them and would not mind some clipping.

What your opinion ?

No capes in this game is a travesty, just like the charr who prevented them.

It has nothing to do with clipping.
It’s simply Tyrian fashion – capes are so yesteryear.
This season we’re going to see floral ruffs and tartan codpieces.

And tentacles, shiny flowers and god backpieces that simply suck. gg anet

I was reaaaaally disappointed with the guild back items (the flaggy things) was really hoping for capes.

Along with the added area, new mobs, and additional story content, the first episode of Season 2 introduces a bunch of new rewards, such as the new Adventurer’s Spectacles and Adventurer’s Scarf (which can be combined to create the Adventurer’s Mantle).
