Caudecus= Not everyone is a Guardian
learn to play issue. use special ability.
kill mobs first. avoid small elementals. run in circle, pick bloodstone and throw. spam that till your break bar. repeat.
L2IQ issue for you. Killing the jade construct is what you do, except you can’t kill the jade constructs when they are pinballing you across the room while the boss keeps throwing conditions and knockdowns at you from his invulnerability bubble.
Moreover, the mobs SPAWN when you break the boss bar. A new door opens every time you break his bubble.
First wave is the bloodstone elemental. Second wave is jade bow. Third wave is the sniper pack. Fourth wave is the Jade Wall.
I can tell someone who is incapable of reading when the OP was about the knockbacks and not the bubble shield or breaking said shield.
I had to virtually abuse the rez points with the small elementals or going down somewhere where an ally could rez me where the Jade Constructs couldn’t keep pinballing a downed corpse to death.
nah, l2p issue for you also. I like didn’t get knocked down at all. You can’t press special ability faster? You can’t get out of a spinning attacks not to get knockdowned? hmm? Level was so easy, all you had to do was press Special ability in time and dodge/avoid telegraphs. And I’ve enjoyed it a lot, cuz it was very fun!
THE JADE BOW DOES KNOCKDOWNS.

While I could have used a larger area to fight in and found the CC chaining with the jade bow present annoying, I think the “Head of the Snake” was a worthy encounter. Further, while it certainly seems difficult at first, I’m not sure we should be aiming for a boss that is so easy you kill it your first attempt without issue.
This is particularly true when you consider that 1) You can bring friends if you like, and 2) From what I’m hearing the NPCs who are with you will raise you and are actually capable of getting you through the tougher parts.
Now I know that isn’t what you want to hear, but with those options to fall back on is it really too much to expect that you might need to practice and learn the encounter a bit before taking out such an important character as Caudecus?
Still, there are probably things they could have done to make this encounter less annoying without completely trivializing it. For instance, if they gave you just a quarter second longer to activate the special and avoid the CC. If the room were a bit larger. If they had chosen something other than a jade bow to throw in with him. I don’t think it would kill the encounter for most players and many who currently have complaints about it might not have.
The issue with this fight is the room, too small and you can’t properly hit the adds, the jade bow was so annoying because dealing with Caudecus + bloodstone minions + AOEs wasn’t enough I suppose…
Got him on my 2nd try though but it was a huge clusterkitten inside the room, I’d say once you take out the Jade Bow and the Snipers he becomes way more manageable, count 6-7s after you used the special action everytime and be patient, you’ll win.
Even if it’s hard, I’d say keep it the way it is. In the end you can always bring a friend or two with you to cheese through the fight.
Tried this fight yesterday solo. I play a ranger and got totally owned. Died 8 times before I gave up. Pretty much every time I went in, either I get CC’d and died instantly, or I run in circle like an idiot then get killed by one of the AOE.
Today I just partied up with 3 other players and blew past that boss in about 25 seconds.
I guess Anet has intended this fight for a party.
Personally I complained first about the fight but I have to agree with this. How hard is it to open your LFG, with a description “LS last boss”. It is basically doing reversed CM
