Changes to Legendary Wyvern fight
I support there being some sort of reward for defeating both bosses.
You got my vote.
I like the mechanics of them winding up to break the island rocks and you need to deplete the break bar to stop them from doing that.
I wish I could, except there are two problems with the mechanic:
1. The breakbar’s nigh-invulnerable against the skills that have a cast time shorter than the breakbar window.
2. The breakbar window is shorter than most CC skill cast times.
Yeah I agree that there’s really no incentive to deal both bosses as the game only treats killing one for loot.
Also I find it weird that for a (pair of) boss that spawns from a long meta, they have a generic fight song unlike the wurm which had a boss fight music lol
Had another run against the destroyer bosses this afternoon that failed. We were calling out the bosses health remaining, and it was clear that one was going down faster than the other. We asked on map chat for more to come to the other boss or the first to slow down. Chat was ignored – one boss was defeated while the other had maybe 30% left. Once enraged, the second boss couldn’t be brought down.
This is frustrating because those at the first boss have no incentive to slow down – they get their loot. Only those at the second boss get left out.
I’m starting to feel we should just do what others have advocated and just focus on one boss, get the loot, and ignore the second one. There’s currently not much incentive to coordinate and beat the event.
