Loving this item, especially in continuation with the series of existing Six God’s backpieces.

Could we please get confirmation that the low availability is working as intended?

It would be really nice to affirm if the trade value of this really is ~2000g or whether it will become readily available in the near future.

If it is in fact intended to be this rare, that sounds fine to me. It just makes the item very exclusive.

I hate “exclusive” items that are only such because of a stupidly low drop rate. Exclusive as in hard to EARN is ok….this is not okay.

I think it gives people who really wants it an objective to work on.

I hope there’s more items like this in future patch.

What is there to “work” on?? earning enough gold to buy a legendary to buy something from someon who got stupid lucky with RNG?
Getting stupidly lucky with RNG yourself?

That is not anything you can work on…that is getting lucky with RNG and is the biggest problem in this game.

That is not anything you can work on…that is getting lucky with RNG and is the biggest problem in this game.

You can indeed play for thousands of hours and not get a single precurser. I got almost 700 hours on my account but the most expensive drop I ever got was worth 22 gold!

It’s fairly easy to make money in the game, but ArenaNet does also seem to reinforce being a gambler: “Make gold playing and then get lucky and forge a weapon by gambling.” Of course you could always just save up the 600-1000 gold you need just for the precursor, but really?

The same goes for the RNG on this back item. I did a few runs of the bosses after beating Liadri to try and get this, but once you beat a boss, it’s just trivial to do it again.

I agree that the drop rate on this is stupidly low. What’s more, it’s not even the final item; you still need to shell out about 20+ gold to make the backpiece, which is ACCOUNT BOUND. It’s not like people can craft it and then sell it to flood the market.
