Now more than ever, lately we’re having a lot of open world dialogue with NPCs.
This bears of course a small problem..
30 people ganging up on an NPC at all times making them invisible in the mob of grey lowpoly or colorful flashy highpoly models.

Is there anyway to make a small box around LW NPCs that renders all models except the NPC and the player invisible? so that the player cana actually see the NPC they’re talking to? because right now, this is very immersionbreaking.. and just downright ugly..

(But I loved the first instance of chapter 3, very well done!)

It is really … annoying. What’s the problem with making these scenes instanced instead?

The reason its not instanced is simply because its too short and small. But I rather have an extra loading screen on this rather than this cluster of uglyness. Plus when instanced you can put more emphasis on emotional details

This is really more a thing when new content is just released and everyone rushes to do it. Hardly seems worth the time to set up an instance for it when the crowds will be gone in a couple of days. Although the exclusion idea might work.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

True, if its sacrificial of other content, I won’t mind. But its a persistent issue, because the majority of the playerbase will do the LW chapters on or shortly after release date.
