"Consume All" - Quality of Live
The sad thing is that it’s actually already partially implemented. When using charges for fashion, you’ll use them up in 1s, 5s, 10s, and 25s (don’t know about 100s) depending on how much you have in the stack.
They just need to extend that to other items.
Edit: They just have to be reeeeeeally careful what they apply it to, so that they don’t accidentally make people eat 25 foods at once.

Yeah thats why I would add it as 2 rightclick options as described
Well, given that most RNGs use time as a component of its seed, a “consume all” option might heavily skew the results of opening boxes; it’s likely a majority people will get nothing, but a few outliers will wind up getting an exotic/ascended for every box opened.

Thats how RNG works.
With this feature you would have the option to use it, but you don’t have to,
if this breaks the “feeling” for you of opening rng boxes.
I’m just tired of breaking my hand by klicking through everything.
The same should be done with vendors, so you can choose how much of a
specific Item you want to buy, so you don’t have do klick million times for obsidian shards or items that even need confirmation each time (icy rune stones)…
For the Essences of Luck, since I’m lazy, I just ship them all to my artificer, and he just condenses them down to a manageable amount of +200s.
It’s also an easy away to finish the monthly masterwork crafter if it’s up that month.

Er, no, I’m not saying it’s a “feeling”, I’m saying “consume all” can potentially break an RNG.
Warning: long winded explanation incoming.
RNGs work by taking a seed and applying it to a mathematical formula to produce a wide variety of seemingly random results, but ultimately it’s still a formula; if you input the same seed ten time into the formula, you get the same results ten times. Almost every RNG uses the time and date as part of the seed, because it’s a number that’s constantly changing, and ANet’s RNG isn’t going to be any different (why reinvent the wheel, after all); a “consume all” function will cause all boxes in a stack to be opened with the exact same time and date, which means the results of the RNG will be exactly the same as well, which in turn means using “consume all” on a stack of boxes will likely give you the exact same loot for each box in the stack.
So the only way ANet can avoid this is if a) they use a non-time dependent, constantly changing value for the RNG seed or b) code “consume all” to work like the crafting queue and opens a box/use a consumable once per second; the former is highly unlikely while the latter can increase server loads in unexpected ways.
End long-winded explanation.
As for clicking things, the oft-suggested solution is to temporarily bind your left-click to the mouse wheel, though it certainly would be nice if vendors had an interface that allowed you to select how much of a good you want to buy and sell.

I get what you mean, but what I’m saying would be purely optional and not only for RNG items but also for non RNG items.

Even if it was optional, how do you make sure each player understands the ramifications of opening all their boxes at one time? You would get so many complaints from players who did it and didn’t read the tooltip or whatever. It wouldn’t be worth it.
I do agree that it would work for things like Luck which always gives you the exact same thing though.
And as mentioned an addition to the UI to purchase a number at one time would be great.

Just don’t include ring boxes then, because ease and comport aside, it is a health issue. Clicking 100,000 times really piles on the pressure on your fingers and wrist, and aside from being painful, can cause permanant side effects.
By the way, you should change your title to ‘Quality of Life’, not live ;3.
I have just recovered from an injury (inflammatory reaction) that took me 7 months to heal caused of GW2….. – clicking being the cause. Save other from the same kind of injuries plz…
