Guild Wars 2

Tried playing though the first chapter a few times for the “New in Box” achievement that says to give the priory woman a box of toys, the thing is, the instance never shows what achievements I am eligible for and after searching all of the area for that achievement, nothing interact-able can be found. Also some of the story instances are not saying what story they belong to in their tooltips, the achievements for playing them through the first time are fine, but the other achievements seem to be bugged or not working.. Would love to have some clarity and insight into what’s going on here with those achievements. Thanks for the taking the time to read this.

I’ve got the same problem.
Also I can’t give Aurene all the cultural stuff i bought :-(

> until a little while ago you couldnt see eligibility in instances, and onlynthe instance owner was eligible.
> giving the toys the maid is slightly buggy. Try to carefully let everyone finish all dialogues and animation. Rushing seems to triggering many bugs.
> the toys arent an interactable thing. Theres a small cave beside the fishing boxes, with a small chests on the bottom. You automatically get the item by bumping into the chest. Very small hitbox, chest is hard to see. Cannot be highlighted.

You can use the Wiki or Dulfy to acquire all needed information on Achievements.

I was doing the cultural attaché achievement and gave everything to Aurene except the Zephyr city. I went to the vendor at the entrance of Dry Top where he’s supposed to have that city and he didn’t. I had a sneaky suspicion that I had bought it when the Zepherites came to town a couple of years ago and I found it in one of my characters bags. I offered it to Aurene, and the dialogue was there to accept it but when I looked, the podium was empty and the city was still in my bag. How do I finish the achievement?

The Zephyrite Model from times past is not the correct item. The correct item is only sold when the map is at Tier 1.

The two are:

1. Zephyr Sanctum Model
2. Model Zephyr Sanctum

(1) is bought in dry top (tier 1, as Inculpatus cedo noted) and is what you display for Aurene.
(2) is bought for laurels or was given as a reward during Bazaar of the Four Winds, i.e. when the Zephyrites came to town a couple of years ago

(if you have my sort of Dyslexia, you might have trouble telling them apart)

Adding to the Zephyr Sanctum, according to Dulfy the Dry Top map HAS to be at tier 1 to buy it

Speaking of New in Box, I missed the chest my first time through Precocious Aurene and now can not figure out how to go try a 2nd time. Maybe I’m just missing something easy but my only option under Living Story 3, Crank in the Ice is to “Quit this Episode”, no “Replay” option.

You might have to finish out the whole episode before you can replay parts of it?

But don’t worry, you can just take a second alt through the first part of the story and head back to the box at the south end. That’s how I got that one, since I always play the new chapters through “blind” the first time, so I don’t know about achieves.
