The last current event (Burden of choice) was released October 4.
Since ‘A Crack in the Ice’ didn’t continue the story line, it’s been 2 months without update on the events.

I’m aware of Halloween and Thanksgiving but Wintersday will be there soon. Will we get an update next week?

Maybe. I’m guessing not, since the Wintersday Patch should hit in 2 weeks (12 days).

Soooooo nothing today. Wintersday next week, might as well last longer this year like Halloween to bridge the time to the next episode. I wonder if we’ll ever see some new events again.

Current events are to fill the gaps, so don’t expect to see them when there’s something else. Expect to wait a while actually. Wintersday until Jan 10th, episode 4 around the 20th and Lunar New Year until probably Feb 7th. The next current event will probably be around Feb 21st with another one on March 7th. Then it’s episode 5 around March 21st and SAB on April 1st. After that it’s open, but season 3 will probably be over or nearly so.

But the festivals are just recycled content, I doubt we will ever see an additional SAB world or the like. Current events on the other hand contribute to the story of the Living World and it would be questionable to delay them for months because of recycled festivals.

Bloodstone magic in episode 1 -> sad anomalies -> Current event: Shadowstone -> no more sad anomalies.

End of February would be almost 5 months since we used or sold the Shadowstone, since the rifts appeared… If we had to wait that long to continue this story line, that would be awful. I forgot about Lunar New Year
