Simple as that. Ok living story content is pretty much fun some are fantastic like Zephyr Sanctum and some are very bad like Nightmare Tower but over all they are all fun. On FIRST PLAY. I know you wanna keep players playing that content as long as possible but forcing them to do it instead offer it is worst way.
It starts with Crap Toss daily champion what was with lags super frustrating. And now we have it for every LS. Now for two together. Personaly I dont want kill more Hybrids in that worst dungeon in game anymore and I love fractals but I want play them when I want.
Yes I know I dont need to do all tasks in daily for reward but I want because I am achievment hunter and this is way how I enjoy game.

And some people don’t have the time/ability to get all achievements done, and therefore the dailies are added so that they can still get the meta if they want to.
And that is how they enjoy the game.

A true achievement hunter will do what’s needed for the achievement even if they don’t like it. Do it and be a true achievement hunter or don’t do it if you don’t want to. Like krall said it helps people with the meta

Like Heta said, if you are an actual achievement hunter then you’ll do them for the points not for the fun of doing them. That’s the point of achievement hunting, at least at a hardcore level. If you’re not interested in doing them, then don’t do them. Likewise as lordkrall said, players need these as a means of completing the meta achievement. Without them, a lot of players would be left out of obtaining the rewards.
