Dear Arenanet
“Also, because Season 1 of Living World was not built with the Journal in mind, it will not be available in the story Journal on initial launch when Season 2 begins. We do hope to add Season 1 to the Journal in the future.”

afaik, this is the last information anet gave abt season1 replayability (i knw it’s not a word. Stop judging me!)
Having only started playing halfway through S1, I really hope they can re-release the content in some form. Maybe make them instance-based dungeons or new fractals? Anyhow, it would be cool to check out some of these events that I never got the chance to play.

I still think that the hunting and slaying of the Karka queen was one of the highlights of my GW2 experience. One of the few one-time events and totally epic with a huge zerg chasing her into the nest. Would enjoy replaying it, but would it be as cool without the huge overworld army?

No, and that’s the biggest hurdle for Season 1 content. Sure, we had a couple of quick solo instances, but the vast majority was epic server-wide events.
Even with scores of NPCs to fill the ranks…it just wouldn’t be the same.

Unfortunately that was horrific for most people. The server lag was insane, most of the time your skills either wouldn’t cast or would take a long time to cast. A ton of people got kicked out of the game/experienced crashes. It was a mess. I’m glad I got to sit through the whole thing, but it was a mess.
