Dear Santa (or am I supposed to address this to Tixx),

We’ve been very good this year and we hope that you think so too. We hope that you will update your Wintersday gift boxes. It isn’t that the various toy skins, snowflakes, Empyreal Fragments, altruism recipes, and bells aren’t great, it is just that they aren’t worth anything. There are too many of them.

Doubtless you have your own surprises, items and inventions which nobody has seen before. It’s exciting if you do. But I’m limited to requesting things that exist for my Wintersday wish list.

I think that since the supply of several limited-release items has disappeared, that they would be a great Wintersday surprise. Not even prestigious items, several regular items have disappeared to the point where they are unaffordable.

Recipe: Superior sigil of Torment (150g)
Recipe: Keeper’s Pauldrons (650g), all Keeper’s weapons
Recipe: Toxic Sharpening Stone (37g)
Recipe: Bowl of Sweet and Spicy Butternut Squash Soup (19g)
Azurite Orb (9g)
Favor of the Festival (28g)
Sentinel’s Orichalum Imbued Inscription (8G)
Desert Rose (82g)
Recipe: Carrot Souffle (8g)
Southsun Mask (67g)

None of these are prestige items, they just haven’t dropped in a while. But Consider Also giving:

Superior Sigil of Generousity (77g)

(This didn’t drop from normal boxes last year and is quite pricy vertical progression in a game that not supposed to have that. I guess the players who bought this for 65 silver 2 years ago are just lucky). Finally,

Recipe: Chaos of Lyssa (212g)

This was a prestige item, but it’s drop rate was bugged 80+% of the event. That bugged rarity is why almost none of the created back pieces exist today: the recipe is too rare to use. Give us a second chance at the item, especially if It will someday be included in a “phantasm weapons” collections.

Does anybody else have any suggestions?

Sentinel’s inscriptions and insignia can be obtained by purchasing it from the Guild Commendation trader for Commendations + gold, so that can come off your list. Price-wise, it’s about the same as highly desired inscriptions/insignias.

Ascended weapon and armor recipes of Ventari and Verata – dropping way too rarely in Dry Top / Silverwastes.

I do have a suggestion : try to rewrite the letter to make it more likely that it has been written by a 10 years old child. You’ll have more impact and make it more funny
