Do you think that Destiny’s Edge 2.0 need a Sylvari?

Because as the story progresses, we get to fight some interesting Sylvari along the way( Canach, Aerin and scarlet) and it is making them out to be the “enemy” of sorts.

What class will he/she play? warrior, ele and thief are all still available(I’m assuming Taimi is an engi).

made a post about this a few weeks ago and a lot of people agree if the Investigation team gets a Sylvari it would either be Canach or a new Sylvari from a different Pale Tree since both offers more lore and plot opportunities.

Canach is about to become a shining blade, and DE 2.0 seems to be on the cusp of a fight to protect the leaders of Tyria including an unknown heir to the throne of Divinity’s Reach. So, I’m going to call that their paths are just about ready to cross and it seems that Canach would have a preference to stick around with DE 2.0.

I don’t see why race matters much here. I genuinely like the characters, even though I wish Marjory’s VA would overdo the accent a teensy bit less.

What does it matter that Trahearne joins them next patch or not?

Has anyone read that text ? Says more or less : The bigest danger for Mordremoth is mostly Traherne.

Don’t think we’re getting a character just for the purpose of having each race, we have 2 Humans and still missing 1 Sylvari and 1 Charr, also who knows for how long Taimi is gonna stay so then we need to replace her too with another Asura.

I hope we get a centaur added to the club. Don’t know why just want that. ^^ with the new friendlies it would also be a good choice as a magumaa guide.

Rox is a Charr, so only missing a Sylvari. Easy to make that mistake, this season Rox has been relegated mostly to background character so far.

The main PS character is a Sylvari. You go ask the Pale Tree on what do to fight Zhaitan. Orr is cleansed thanks to a sword made by the Pale Tree. The main antagonist of GW2 was a Sylvari.
It awoke a Jungle dragon and the Pale Tree plays a part into all of that.

Oh and the most recent bad guy was a Sylvari.

So…sylvari everywhere.

While I see Trahearne joining the group as extremely unlikely, this just popped into my head:

Boss: Hey Trahearne, glad you finally joined the team. I will be your boss from now on… please, just call me boss.

Trahearne: Okay, Commander… I mean Boss. Can’t I just call you commander? Calling you boss just makes me so feel…

Boss: Inadequate?

Trahearne: I was going to say that it made me feel like your second, but i’d probably get voiced script and you won’t… so maybe I won’t feel so bad. Boss. BOSs … BoSs… BOss…

Boss: I think I liked you better when you were doing paperwork back at HQ.

My guess is that since the world revolves around sylvari, the player is probably filling the role of sylvari. We are supposed to be the sylvari were just taking that spot with our asura charr etc.

But if they do add in a sylvari I hope one of the humans gets killed off to make room for him/her

Re-roll to sylvari and everything will make more sense.

Rox is a Charr, so only missing a Sylvari. Easy to make that mistake, this season Rox has been relegated mostly to background character so far.

Oh my god I can’t believe I just made that mistake, hahaha thanks for being an adult about it ^^

I believe we might get a new member of DE 2.0 during next episode, as we will visit the Grove. I doubt we will get a centaur companion among our ranks, and a Sylvari would make more sense, if Mordremoth indeed intends to corrupt their race and/or Pale Tree, they have the most reason to fight alongside commander of the Pact and his, eh, “team”.

But who that will be? Canach? Caithe? Trahearne? Or maybe Malyck?

Because Trahearne, unlike player character, is the only person that keeps the Pact together. Let’s be honest: without him the strongest army Tyria has at the moment will be shattered. Orders have little respect for each other, but they fight together because they have a leader.

Let me remind you, our characters are fighters and adventurers, they are force that makes things done. Not particularly fitting type of character to lead three completely different orders to war with supernatural magical forces. Who is, then? Planner, leader, orator. Which Trahearne is.

Yeah, she and Braham really have nothing meaningful to add. Taimi is the smart one who knows what’s going on, Majory is pretty much in charge (although I guess second in charge) and Kasmeer’s her girlfriend. Rox and Braham are pretty much just there to provide dps.

Hopefully a sylvari who can then automatically jump the ranks and become their leader! Then we can being in Trahearne and he can be the hero of the Pact, Sylvari can be hero of the Biconics, and then we can have them fighting Mordremoth, a sylvari dragon!

It practically writes itself!
