If there’s info on this somewhere already, please point me in that direction.

So I did the new story and then clicked Replay to do the achievements. Thing is, that removes all the text that was on that journal page and reset it completely.
So here is my question; do I have to do all the steps again to get the journal page filled in with text or what do I do?

Clicking replay resets that particular episode of the living story so you can do it again. However, it doesn’t mean you have to do it again to move on to the next part. When the next part is released you can start that without completing the previous steps of the story again.

I’m not sure with your question about the journal page text for the story as I’m not in game atm.

The text, as in the text that is on that journal page after you have done story steps. Basically a journal entry written from your character’s perspective.

It seems, at this time, you do have to finish the instances again to have the text re-appear. I imagine they will re-work and tweak how the Journal functions, in response to feedback, in the coming months.

After clicking my reset, I’m stuck at “Read Your Mail”. I can repeat any step, but it never progresses linearly. It’s rather annoying.

Same and I have no “new mail” to speak of.

If you open your ‘old’ mail, I believe it starts the process, again. At least, it did for me.

Also, an option to “Stop Replaying Story” would be nice. Got all my achievements, don’t need the green plague in the top right any more.
