For example, if enough of X faction was not defeated, or X objective was not completed enough, a different story line would follow rather than the “winning” one? Would really make for a more community driven story line where people feel the have a hand in how the world around them is shaped. Of course there are pros and cons to this but I’ve got faith in this. Thoughts?
Too much work for temporary content. People are complaining about this already. Imagine if Anet had to design two different outcomes depending on people.
For permanent content, like DEs this makes a lot of sense. For temporary content that will be behind us, I’m not sure the amount of work it would require would be worth the payoff…even though I like the idea in theory.
