Hey all —

I’m a newer player to GW2; I started shortly before the Dragon Bash ended.
I was wondering if anyone knows whether players would ever get another opportunity to participate in that event? In particular I’ve been jealously eyeing some of those translucent wings, the back items, and I’d hate to think I missed my only chance of getting them.

Hope someone can help clarify this, and maybe also clarify which sorts of events tend to be recurring and which tend to be one-time only (or if any Living World events repeat at all). Thanks.

I’m pretty sure it’s an annual festival.

Halloween (October) and Wintersday (December) will repeat. Dragon Bash will likely repeat also. It’s not guaranteed that the same rewards will be there each time, though.

Those are the only ones that we know of so far that will repeat.

Like what a previous poster posted, Halloween and Wintersday will return and Dragon Bash is a new annual event, but if holiday events in GW1 is any indication, we will be getting new rewards, but not sure if old rewards will return or not.

There are two sets of ‘translucent wings.’ One set that looks more like traditional dragon wings should still be available on the TP, search ‘holo’. The other set that looks like the Shatterer’s wings are account bound and everyone could only get 1 of.

Recurring event. Which is a good thing, considering those Koi Cakes are amazing against bosses.

Definitely recurring, although next year probably won’t have the same murder mystery to solve.

They announced Molten Facility will return as well.
