Dungeons through LS
Now here’s what I’ve been thinking: wouldn’t it be a great way to introduce new dungeons in the future via living story updates?
I always thought of Southsun Cove as a missed opportunity. You could have ended that whole story update about karka invasion with a dungeon
Have living story end with a story mode of a new dungeon, and after the update the traditional explorable mode with multiple paths can open. You keep the same model you have with every other dungeon, and this way you can introduce new dungeons through living story updates.
Thoughts?
I do like this idea, but. With the LS, if you miss the boat so to speak, you’ll miss out on doing the dungeon. I had this problem with flame and frost. Missed the initial zurg couldn’t finally a group to do it, so I missed out on the end of that story. I liked how tower of nightmears was done. I’d rather see more of that. From what I understand the atherblade path in TA is not that big of a bit with people. From the people I know and various guilds they find that fractals are better for risk vs reward than Atherblade. So they opt for fractals. I feel the that unless something new was offered up by the dungon, it would just get ignored.

I’m all for them introducing any new dungeons or lasting content at this point, preferably dungeons though. With new tokens and armor. Heck in this case we could have karka armor and weapons, why not?

Yeah this is exactly what I mean. We have karka weapons and all and they should have come packed with a new cave-like dungeon or something. I don’t like them but it’s tons better then all new weapon and armor skins being through gem store :/
