But instead of putting each born elite in each three lines, put them all in the Grandmaster trait area.

With the implementation of the Revenant, anet practicalyl destroyed instantly every kind of improvements for racial “skills” in any kind of form, because revenants have from all classes no option of choosing any utility skilsl as all of their heali,g utilities and elite skilsl are automatically preset by the chosen legendary you use…

Anret would have to completely redesign the whole class just to make it fossible for them to use in any kind of logical way also racial skilsl like all others…

For me personalyl is on this topic just 1 single solution ever possible and that is:

1) COMPLETELY REMOVE ALL OF THE RACIAL SKILLS OUT OF THE GAME

2) REPLACE THE REMOVED RACIAL SKILLS WITH ADDITIONAL NEW CLASS BASED UTILITY SKILLS TO INCRESE THE UTILITY SKILL DIVERSITY FOR ALL CLASSES

3) CHANGE RACIAL SKILLS INTO RACIAL MASTERIES.

Racial Masteries are the only real solution for me, turning racial abilities into special race specific mastery based talents that are part of your horizontal character progression and part of your characters overall gameplay all of the time, without forcing you to have to equip these things as skilsl into your skill bar, which is the issue that won’t work with revenants and what is the reason for why ANet needs to move racial effects to a different system that isn’t based on equipable skills, but rather on passive effects that are ALWAYS there and part of your race that you play, once you have mastered those racial talents.

Humans = Divine Prayers
Asuras = Eternal Alchemy
Sylvari = Synergies
Norn = Transformations
Charr = War Technologies

Example for how Humans could work:

Humans

I: Blessed by the Six
When playing a Human you can find inMaps of Central Tyria Divine Shrines where ypou can make Prayers to the Goddess that blessed your Birth (i.E when ypou chose at Character Creation Dwayna, then you can pray to Dwayna at these shrines to receive her Blessings.

Blessed by Bathazar: Gain Stacks of “God of War” when killing Enemies in Central Tyria Maps, to gain Might Stacks whenever you kill something and allies in your Group that are feeling your presence get healed a bit whenever you kill something while you have Might and stay in your near.

Blessed by Melandru: Gain Stacks of “God of Nature” when being hit by Attacks that let you receive damaging Conditions and allies in your Group that are feeling your presence become alot more resistent against Conditions while being in your near, while you have Conditions on you.

Blessed by Grenth: Gain Stacks of “God of Death” when something in your near dies and alllies in your group that feel your presense receive Soul Armors reducing the incoming Damage they receive for a while by cumulative 5% per Stack for a while when being in your near.

Blessed by Dwayna: Gain Stacks of “God of Life” whenever you heal yourself and allies in your group that feel your presence receive Buffs to their Healing Powers and Boon Durations for every Stack while being in your near.

Blessed by Lyssa: Gain Stacks of “God of Chaos” whenever you gain a Boon and allies that feel your presense gain randomly Boons, whenever Boons on you end and receive for every Boon that is on them Boosts to Condition Damage while being in your near.

Blessed by Kormir: Gain Stacks of “God of Truth” for some time when you use Utility Skills and allies in your Group that feel your presence become Alacrity and gain back a bit Endurance whenever one of those Stacks ends, while being in your near.

II: Divine Ascension
Defeat the Avatar of Yourself to ascendd like the Heroes of the Past traditionally ascended after having unlocked the Mastery.
Once you have been ascended, your you gain in Central Tyria Maps “Heroic Moves”
You become alot more resistent to Fall Damage and said Heroic Moves will be added to your Character Animations that will make your Jumps for example alot more visually appealing, you won’t fall down anymore flat on the face when you fall from high places, but instead you do a heroic landing move. You gain new Heroic Human specific Dances.

III: Pride of Lineage
Based on your Choice of your Lineage, you will gain access to unique Weapon Sets, Armor Sets, Finishers, Gliders, Back Items ect. that are based on either being which can be used only by Human Characters:

  • Krytan Set
  • Canthan Set
  • Elonian Set

IV: Champion of the Gods
Obtain a Human only useable Ascended Champion of Gods-Armor Set of all 3 Types (Light, Medium, Heavy) that works as Precursor for the Human Only Legendary Racial Armor Set “Twilight of the Gods”
To obtain this Precursor Armor, you have to fulfill with multiple Characters that are blessed by the Six multiple different Divine Trials to proof yourself worthy as a Champion of the Gods. If you have done them all and obtained the precursor, you gain also in GW2 the Title “Champion of Gods” and all of the previous Titles if you down own them yet and played GW1 with a linked Account that is at least 1 Year old and the Community Achievement(s) for that, if you don’t own it already from playing GW1.

V: Divine Miniatures
Unlock for your Account a Set of Miniature God Avatars that will have their own divine flashy Animations

VI: Eternal Hero
Gain the Aura of the Eternal Hero, a Human Racial Aura Effect, which will unlock for your Account the “Eternal Hero Skill Skins”, which will change the Skill Animations of all your Skills of your Human Characters into Human only Eternal Hero Skin Versions that do look more epic, than the normal skin versions do, adding also new special effects to your legendaries that you wield letting their effects become even more epic and legendary (This effect boost is deactivatable, if you don’t want to see the improved effects).

With that Rework Example for Humans here, a Human player would receive easiyl by Tier 1 a Human Special Gameplay Effect, that will give you while playing a Human a different Gameplay Feeling as when you’d play an other race, while all the other harder to obtain Tiers are just visual things that make your human characters look unique over other playable races.
Tier 2-6 work as General Racial Masteries that will be for all practically nearly the same, but just provides different flavor textand in certain thigns different tasks to be done to earn the effects that come with these tiers.

Brief Version of Tier 1 for all the Races and how they make the Gameplay for each race different:

Humans = Divine Birth God based Prayers that make every Human Character different effect the Group passively

Norn = Transformations which change their Combat Skills out and can be used whenever you want. They are based on which Animal Spirit you have chosen to follow at Character Creation so again every Norn is different

Sylvari = Synergies with the Nature, which lets them summon Plant Creatures, like Treants, Thorn Wolves ect based on which timestate they got born, so that each Sylvari is different in the summoning aspect They synergize with the environment to form it (Terraforming) by controling the nature around them and becoming one with nature with the help of the summoned Creatures that are each individually different in how they enable you Terraforming.
Nighttime = Thorn Wolf
Daytime = Treant
Noontime = Leshen
Dawntime = Sprig Deer

Asura = Eternal Achemy based on the School of Teachings they followed, giving them based on their Teachigns different Technologies they can activate or summon automatically on usage of ypour Elite Skills, as they think of themself of beign them ost superior race, its just normal that they would have something special up their sleeves when using Elite Skills, so whenever you use an Elite Skill as an Asura, something Asura specific based on your chosen College Teachings will happen randomly.

Charr = War Technologies. As Charr are NEVER alone, being always part of a Warband that uses Charr special War Technologies led by the Charr of your Choice that survived, based on your Character Creation, your Charr Character is always able to call for reinforcement by calling the Warband for help by offering situational based support based on your health. and how many enemies are around you.
So it can happen that if you call for reinforcements, that the warband will bombard the area for some time with Charr Artillery, or that they will send you a Charr Tank that you can control for some time ect pp. or let a box full of charrzookas fall from the sky from which everyone can take one from.

These racial masteries naturally woudl work just like racial skilsl do work currently only for PVE, not not for PvP, nor for WvW.
racial Masteries are in first linea flavor mechanic to give the different playable races for PvE different Gameplay Feelings, so that each playable race feels being different when beign played.
Cause as long all of this Stuff is just PvE only, theres no worries about making maybe some racial effects powerful, as they won’t harm any competitive gameplay modes, nor are any of those effects more good to be used with only specific Classes.

Humans= the Allrounders that are with their Prayers nice Group Supporters, in nothing superb, but in everything average, while boosting up all others while they are near you.
Norn = More Selfish Powerhorses with their Transforms, but great for DPS
Sylvari = Hybrid between Allrounder and Selfish, with greater focus on Environmental Controls
Asura = More Selfish Specialists that have therefore that they aren’t constantly supporting with passives like Humans much more effectful side effects when they use their Elite Skills that let for the moment everyone else look like Bookahs. In regard of how long the recharge time of the Elite Skill thats used is, changes the chance that you activate with the Elite also one of the asuran Eternal Alchemy Effects at the same time.
Charr = More offensive Group Supporters than Humans with on demand Military Reinforcements, not so great for DPS like a transforming Norn maybe, but more diverse situationally and in regard of which kind of Warband you lead based on different gameplay mechanics (AoE DPS, where Norn are more single target effective, Support, Control or Healing)
The Effects are of Reinforcements strogner, than the Human passives from Prayers, but as on demand skils have recharge times for the Warband Call.

Thats how I’d change thigns about Racial Skilsl and turn the whole thign to Racial Masteries.
Sure, the chance is there that somethign like this might maybe create some racial discrimination amougn players choosing somethign to become part of the Pvwe meta or so.. but in generral the overall PvE game could only profitate alot by such changes as the general gameplay of PvE in this game woudl becoem instantly with all playable races alot more fun!!
