When transformed into a Sylvari in a party for one of the new LS instances, Engineers can put kits on their bars, but can’t actually equip them. This makes the last mission pretty tricky, as you’re basically forced to spam range skills from pistol / rifle against reflect spamming earth elemental mobs.

Other players can use their respective classes skills / utilities. Without kits Engineers are basically useless.

Turns out Elementalists can’t use their conjured weapons either.

What about turrets? Maybe they will finally be useful for something other than pvp camping
