Ok I get it, LA suffered enough destructions and I’m fine with that.
However, just don’t make the same mistake as with Escape from Lion’s Arch episode.
What I mean is the part where we evacuate civilians, it was absurd.
How exactly did that work anyway? Because we had to wait for the toxic miasma to thin in order to enter. So apparently all the civilians learned not to breathe, as they were still standing once we entered. On the other hand if they had a way of surviving it, why did’t we get to use it too?
So no evacuation OK?
And I don’t want any rescuing civilians too, as that makes no sense either.
Since the Queen is aware of the attack she can just order to evacuate them to LA and/or Ebonhawke using the portals, and leave only those that will take part in the battle. But no such evacuation should be done by us.

There is one more thing that is bothering me. The trailor clearly shows centaurs attacking, but why would centaurs join the White Mantle? Enemy of my enemy is my friend, but centaurs hate all humans and the White Mantle is made up of humans.
So for what reason would they join them?

That miasma killed tens of thousands of civilians. We rescued the ones that had managed to find air pockets, get cloths over their head, or were just plain sturdy.

The centaurs could just be attacking out of opportunity rather than via any collusion with the White Mantle. We don’t even know what exactly they are attacking.

Regardless, the night before release is a bit late to make suggestions you wish implemented. Perhaps you meant you hope these things will not recur?

The thing with the attack on Lion’s Arch event is that the system was set up in such a way that we would have to scramble to find multiple things in a span of time before it reset everything. It was, from what I remember, the first of its kind for GW2. Realistically yeah, many civilians and Lionguard were killed in this attack. For the game mechanics, players are given a set amount of time to fight off Scarlet’s Army and find survivors in the wreckage before leaving the city again.

I think what the devs learned from this is that there shouldn’t be a super long gap in map reset. We see this being applied to Dragon’s Stand in that after every success/defeat the map is reset automatically and we start over. No waiting in Tangled Depths for it to reset. It’s a flawless, seamless cycle, which I’m very glad they improved upon that. I enjoy the set up to get into Lion’s Arch with the event outside the map in each of the adjoining zones. Tbch I can’t recall what the wait time was for each entry to LA. I just remember it felt like forever lol

To answer your White Mantle + centaur question, they have already collaborated in the past.
In one of the explorable paths in Caudecus Manor, we learn that the centaurs collaborated with bandits in slave trades. Since some bandits are linked to the White Mantle, it’s not too crazy to think that the centaurs and the White Mantle have some sort of deal/alliance going on.

Don’t you think it’s a little late for requests 17 hours before release?

Its a pity Scarlet is not here anymore, she would find some funny name for such a strange aliance. Like Horse Mantle or something.
