Honestly they can introduce all the dragons via living story but as players we’ll never be able to fight and kill them because without elder dragons GW2 wouldnt have an enemy its like the road runner and the coyote i remember seeing him finally catch the road runner and held up one of his signs sayijg “now what?” Id love to whoop mordys butt but i dont ever see it happening

Except that they have a lot of dragons to get through and it’s highly unlikely there would ever be more than one per year. Not to mention the fact that while a dragon might be introduced through the living story, the actual battle with them is more likely to happen in an expansion or permanent continued personal story content. It will happen because there is no way the game could continue on if it didn’t.
Its a mmo its not suppose to continue it may play like a book but there cant be a ending (dragons are dead and the races of tyria lives happily ever after) ummm no it has to be the same from vet player to new player to keep new players joining the game like i said theres a reason why the coyote never catches the roadrunner every other mmo doesnt just stop continuing when you reach endgame they have it set up where the fight is never ending (because players need content to play or game gets unplugged because vets think they deserve to beat the game…) you can’t beat an mmo lol

In GW1 we defeated the Lich – so they release Factions with a new foe. We defeat Shiro – so they release Nightfall with a new foe. We defeat Abaddon – so they release EoTN.
GW2 is designed in a way that makes it really easy for them to keep the story going. There are 6 known dragons, one of which we have defeated. Then there’s Elona which has been taken over by Palawa Joko. We have no idea what’s really going on with Cantha at the moment – and then there’s the rest of the world to explore. There is a lot for them to do after we kill the dragons and we will be going after the dragons. Even if there was one dragon per year it would still take another 5 years for all of them to be defeated – but I expect them to follow a timeline closer to one every two years, in which case they’re in no panic and we still get to defeat the dragons.
Well at worse they can introduce Scarletta, Scarlet and Mordremoth’s daughter, who will be an annoying kittykitten during one living story season and will create a flower dragon so we can play another season. That’s two years and they can hire the writer that made the LS season 1 for just a few bucks I expect so it’s pretty cheap compared to an actual one. See, they have plenty of ressources to go on if they run out of inspiration !

How so.. The Pact is still in good shape and we’ve developed a ton of technology to defeat Zhaitain that can also be used to fight the other Dragons… The story isn’t going to trial off, there’s no logical reason to think so. If they’re introducing a dragon it’s because they have big plans around it and are working up to us defeating it. If they didn’t then a lot of people would stop playing the game. They aren’t stupid.
Jormag is basically on hoelbreks door but we arent going dragon hunting for him… We also know theres old K in the crystal sands that we are doing nothing about why would mordy be any different “oh look a new dragon so lets just go easy mode kill it cause we already killed one” ummm no… The ONLY reason why we are looking for mordy is to prepare for the devastation to come from the dragons wake (i.e. Kinda like tracking a hurricane, you find it with the satalite so that you can tell people to ger the hell outta there) i don’t know what has it in your head that the dragons are gonna just kill over and die theres a reason why entire civilazations have wiped and also why it took this long just to kill one, i expect jormag to go before mordys ever touched and thats gonna be years and ill be playing gw3 by then
