Female norn and the new carapace armor.
Ewww, hadn’t noticed that in any of the other pics. Was going to get the armor for my Female Norn Guardian too. Hopefully ANet will touch that up some how. It’ll drive me bat poop crazy if they don’t =p.

The floating shoulders are also a problem on norn. The design looks great, but floating armor is unfortunately distracting. Given that this has been a problem on norn armor since release, though, I doubt that particular item will ever get changed.
Floating armor is not unique to norns. Try building a “large” sylvari and you get much the same. Shoulder armor float, and both them and gloves becomes insanely large. End result is that if such a sylvari decks out in some of the bigger armor pieces he can pass for a compact norn.
Supposedly the issue stems from trying to avoid clipping during /dance. For me that seems silly, as dance seems like such a frivolous thing to worry about when it makes whole armor sets look silly for the rest of the game.
The Phoenix Light Armor for human males has the same issue. It’s the only reason I haven’t bought it for my necro. Kind of hard to see how this was overlooked.
It is not overlook, different armor got different mesh, and the mesh from different set may or maynot able to fit perfectly. The more armor style, the more harder (huge workload) to fix different armor mesh one by one. So we have to live with it.
This happens with a lot of armors. Strider’s armor for example has the same issue.

ironically, there’s still clipping when using /dance, so……….yeah, anet, just get rid of floating armor and wierd gaps in armor
