Foefire items in Gemstore- a hint?
The Foefire skin looks pretty good. Going to have to see what it looks like in-game. This just might be my very first skin purchase
Sometimes a wiggle and a twitch isn’t a signal; it’s just an itch.

And a bad one. Seriously, who wants to run around wearing candles on their shoulders or ugly wraps that cover a piece of armor on their forearms and hands?
The only good thing about those skins is the cool glowing-runes-effect. But that doesn’t make up for the rest.

I was responding to the OP’s question about whether ANet was giving us a hint about the upcoming story.
Who? All those that appreciate these armor skins. Even an appreciation thread showed up.
Taste: it’s individual.
I don’t think this armor is a hint to anything any more than other armor skins have or have not been. Still, anything is possible. =)
Good luck.
Go full candle, with new legendary torch, wing 4 raid backitem and foefire wraps.

A hint that the next “legendary armors” will come from the gemstore? Yeah.

Yes, indeed. It’s rather laughable, isn’t it?
At least the Foefire Wraps don’t have candles, and when you wear them with certain long-sleeve chest armor, you see only the cool part (namely the wraps from the wrist down) minus the not-so-pretty bracers.
I dunno, There’s also chickens, sloth, plushy backitems and all other kind of stuff that could be considered laughable. Whole armors that are on fire that supposedly must be fine as a firehazard. Or glow-in-the-dark armor. Shoulders that make bats fly around you let it locally snow over your character. Not to mention invisible shoes, bees that follow you, pixels that appear around your character or some ghostly aura. And ofcourse the more generic hazardous spikes that should slice your characters face open if worn.
It was more to illustrate that it’s actually not that weird to have candles if you really like candles. In fact it’s more ritualistic than anything. Occult if you will.

I’d love to hear what actually happened to Rythlock when we falled down into the Mists with Ascalonian ghosts.
And I’d LOVE to see more lore and story about Ascalonian ghosts aswell.
