Glint Resurrection
I don’t know about Resurrection, but in GW1 I killed her then she talked to me later.
Just kidding, but still weird that they did that.
you should listen to the npc’s near the waypoint (Prosperity Waypoint) they talk about something like awakening glint.
i dont remember 100% but 1 sentence goes something like: i wanted a blessing but i awoke glint instead…

Na, that was “I prayed to Glint for a merciful end but woke up here instead”, or something along those lines.
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.
However, in Edge of Destiny she was killed by Kralkatorrik, her former master. That seems to be somewhat more final.

You’d more likely see Glint’s child rather than Glint herself.
What if…the Master of Peace is taking Glint’s offspring to Mordremoth to be corrupted, as Mordremoth as yet to choose it’s champion?

I get the impression that everyone always assumes Glint’s offspring to be benign. As far as I know there’s no indication that it is.
In fact, if the child has it’s mother’s powers, it’s just as likely that it is manipulating the Master into doing “something” instead. It would explain his odd behaviour.
Aren’t the aspect crystals we are using basically made from Glint’s bones?

Crystallized blood, I believe. Glint was a champion of Kralkatorrik, whose blood would dry into solid crystal.

I remember one of the short stories mentioning something about the bones.

I’d think it was the opposite. That the child was lost and now he’s off to go find it so it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. At this moment I don’t expect the Master of Peace to back stab us but I think he’s keeping any information that would prove vital to assisting him, secret so that word wouldn’t spread and reach others who in turn would do harm. This is common practice in any story because if he blurted everything out there would be no intrigue; bad form especially for an Episode 1.
At this point, rereading through some of the information of Mord on the wiki, I think the Nightmare Court is connected to Mord. Maybe not a Champion it created but rather being a species of fauna makes them heavily susceptible to Mord. That and Scarlet had surprised thoughts from something during one of the earlier episodes in Season 1 and when those thoughts were unleashed suddenly she went crazy. I do think in some way the Pale Tree has been acting like a wall and those that veer too close to Mord, lose contact with the Pale Tree, end up getting driven mad.
People are going to cry but doing more research, it’s heavily implied that it’s going in that direction.
Prob should mark this thread for spoilers, but since we are a few days out already, should be fine.
Anyway, my theory, and spoilers ahead.
It was said in scarlette’s hub that dragons don’t destroy magic, but consume and absorb, Storying it. I can’t remember, but the dragons have appeared twice before, so now I assume if the other fractal had won, we would’ve learned about this more.
Back to the dragons. Since they absorb and store, we are unsure how they release, but their bodies become a large source of magic, even while dead. This would explain why shaitan still has minions even after death, as his magic could be leaking out, or some minion doing it.
Glint was a dragon, and either unintentional or not, she absorbed magic. And although she died in the crystal desert fighting, it was never said her body was laid to rest there. In come the zephyrites, probably noticing the magic stored within, and his her carcass somewhere to not be abused.
That’s theory one, and the master is going to go and check up on the body, to assure its untouched, as it would make sense for the inquest to want that much magic power.
Theory two, glint was buried somewhere in crystal desert, and offspring are hidden around here.
Theory three, combination with one of the two above, except betrayed by minister.

Umm… why would the Master want to do something Glint would oppose?

This is a child who’s mother was murdered, correct? I’d think he’d be against the Elder Dragon(s) whom killed his mother then, no?

She was a champion. There is nothing to prove that the child would not become his new champion. Or it could be really po’ed and looking to tear the dragons a new one. Until/if we meet the child we can only guess.

I’m guessing that the Zepherites had more than one place they regularly landed, and they had stashes of supplies hidden away in case of emergencies. With the ships crashed and broken, they need some special items to rebuild them and get them in the air again. That’s where he’s going.
I’m beginning to think that the Master of Peace may be Mister E. Or, rather, he’s the one writing the letters for Mister E. Dragon claws, even small ones, are not well suited to holding an ink quill.
delicate, brick-like subtlety.
Whatever the Master is doing, it doesn’t include Glint’s body. The reason why I can say this with absolute certainty is the skill challenge, which says:
“The magical energies of the dragon champion Glint still linger around the wreckage of this garden used by her Zephyrite followers to grow their Aspect crystals from her crystalline remains.”
It sounds like they turned Glint’s body into their “Crystal Garden” (per the skill challenge name) and grow Aspect crystals from her remains – perhaps the Quartz too, given the blue coloring of the crystal. Given the skill challenge, though we don’t actually see anything (shame on you Anet, we know you have crystal models that could have been used for appearance!) it seems to indicate that most of Glint’s body is supposed to be at that skill challenge or just simply dismembered.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

I think he took off with it to hide it, since there clearly was some force out to get to it. Probably to find “the battleground” . . .
I also think, in true GuildWars fashion, we will confront him about it, he will retort it’s not our business . . . we kill him, then find out he wasn’t doing anything evil just in time for it to explode in our faces.

I don’t think that’s the whole of the body, just part.
Can we please not talk about the Master of Peace taking her offspring. This would be a baby dragon that’s been around for close to 250 years, even if it were only the size of her baby we encountered in EoTN there is still no way he is smuggling it around without anyone being able to see…

I personally thing the offspring is him and that the zephyrites are dedicated to protecting him on his journey to attain godlike status.
Or the Master of Peace is glint’s child in disguise…. who knows what magic it has… considering “the bad guy of this episode” was trying to make him give him power( or I should say 1 of glint’s children… because there were a ton of eggs)

Mmm…that is interesting….and can make since going back to dungeon and dragons, dragons could assume human form

I was thinking of the same but there is a way around that. If Glint’s lair is within a single grain of sand then the child might have similar abilities. The bigger probablem would be getting the child to do what he wants.

In lore, the bonus missions didn’t happen at the same time. The Chosen ones went back there to fighter her after the last mission in Prohecies. But I don’t think they killed her, and if they did, she could simply respawn from a crystal like branded do.
