Finally we have the date and artwork teaser thingy. What do you think of it? The place looks kind of like a part of Maguuma. Doesn’t the boat look a bit Canthan though?

Edit: Actually it looks like Orr after Trehearne’s clensing ritual. Which would make sense if we’re going south to Elona.

People keep mentioning the Canthan looking boat. But the leak was about Elona? Could the leak really have been fake and we are going to Cantha instead of Elona? If so, that is by far the most detailed and well done fake leak I’ve seen lol.

So, we go to cleansed Orr, and later in the expansion we use a boat to travel through the water to Amnoon Oasis which was near the sea in GW1. Calling this scenario now!

As for the boat, I want to say I recall similar boats in Kourna or Istan in GW1.

I suspect it may be Orr but a new Map for Orr made to show how the cleansing went. The other Orr Map are stuck in Pre-Zhaitan defeat after all but there is still a area in Orr we have yet to explore that can be used for Season 3 timeline.

That boat was datamined a long time ago (img). It was back with the Zephyrites, so it could be them. It was also used in concept art, which was used for Bloodtide Coast.

Disappointed that it’s the25th since I’ll be off vacation by then but definitely excited that it’s Orr instead of another shiverpeaks map. It looks beautiful from the art.

Probably on the east side of Orr which will then connect to the Crystal Desert.

They updated scavengers causeway awhile back.

Ah, right, that boat was inside Labyrinthine Cliffs too, I believe, during Festival of the Four Winds. Which would relate it to Cantha, since that was their prior destination.

Definitely not an elonan style of boat, that’s a canthann style.

There’s overworld map space for a fourth Orr map before we head off to the Crystal Desert to fight Kralkatorrik.

Orr makes sense, when you think about it. It’s where the first dragon fell, so there’s likely some “free” magic floating around there, now. (At the time, we didn’t do anything to gather it up.) It’s also the “home city” of The Six. If we’re going to get answers about what’s going on, that’s a good place to start looking.

Very excited. I know cleansing may very well take decades and on top of draconian corruption there’s literal wreckage and crap from being underwater, but I’m excited to see plants here and there – also maybe a new Risen model or two? I know in the maps we got the pact has been constantly lowering their numbers, but as far as I know, nobody ever went to the other side, right? I mean after the dragon died, there’s no need – except masses of risen just hanging out killing everything
