Grawl will worship Karka
I can definitely see them discovering the Ancient Karka’s corpse and worshiping it. The grawl seem to worship anything that looks big, bad, and dangerous such as Jormag or the Volcano in FotM.
To roughly quote the NPC’s after the grawl event in wayfarer foothills
Hey grawl we killed your god
They will find some thing else a rock or a flower they will worship anything.
or, they found a way to make grawl-(ancient) karka hybrid, a nightmare beast with grawl head showing misery attached on karka body
Guess it will be a matter of time. The grawl refugees at LA, according to their npc chief, are not pleased with Consortium on how they are being treated different from Norns & Charrs. I speculate that they will be main antagonists in consortium related dynamic events at southsun, raiding camps for supplies, or even kidnap consortium staff, to be presented as offering for their new god karkas.
Grawl worship everything they can anyway.
more deadly than any that walks this earth. Put aside the Ranger.
Become who you were born to be. I give hope to men. I keep none for myself.
You know, I think it’d be nice if grawl turned out to be the only species able to get along with the Karka in a sort of native-american style reverence/use way.
So the Grawl sort of become “stewards” of southsun, helping the karka hatch and hunt, maybe riding around on them, etc.
Like Luxons and giant turtles.
This would, invariably put them at odds with the Consortium, who are trying to push the Karka out and exploit their land… and thus… conflict which could drive the DEs and story arcs of the entire zone in a much more interesting way.

Something will certainly develop in Southsun Cove. It would be foolish of them to completely break off that storyline. The consortium were introduced and are obviously involved, and it seems more likely for them to break off into their own plot instead of secretly being tied in with the molten alliance. One of the norn refugees in lions arch even said he planned on moving to southsun cove with a group.

then:
fight along side karka-rider grawls for freedom
or
secure the land with consortium armies (military division)
I can imagine the poor grawl trying to ride Veteran Karka and getting killed in throngs when they use the spin bash insta mega gib ability they have.
Grawl will worship anything…
In Concordia they worship a “wooden tower” till you drive them off…which to me seemed very stupid..
Grawl worship what they think is powerful in their small view of the world. If the Karka are eating some of them then perhaps they would see them that way.
I should place a potted fern out somewhere and see how long it takes for the Grawl to start worshipping it.

Forget the Karka, I want the Grawl to worship the Consortium.
“We bow before your might!”
“Good…good, now repeat after me my minion: ‘Quarterly earnings’ can you say that?”
“Qu..Quarterly earnings.”
Evil laugh “Oh I do love my job”
Lol I agree fully OP, so much so that as soon as I saw the Grawl in the camp going to Southsun cove I told all my friends and guilders the Grawl are going to worship the karka xD.
As their mother, I have to grant them their wish. – Forever Fyonna
Keep in mind there is a Asuran Gate under construction in Southsun at the south-east waypoint… may have significance for whatever event is coming our way eventually.
Either the Consortium will use it to reinforce Southsun, making it their central hub… or they will use it to push things OUT, like say maybe tamed karka… with less than pleasant intentions.

there are many asura gates under construction, like the 5 near the bank in LA or the countless in rata sum that are either active with no use or under construction, anyway more storyline would actually give me an excuse to go to southsun cove again since the one time event, even if they added another boss event like a general karka, that appeared every 4-5 hours like the current bosses.
The grawl cheif in Lions Arch has specifically said they distrust the Consortium. I really don’t blame the grawl. I think there is going to be a fight between us and the Consortium very soon. They could very well worship the Karka but as has been said they worship everything. We also have worked to bring them into the fight against the dragons so whichever side they are on we will be too.
As long as they do something with Southsun, I’ll be happy. Right now, it’s pretty useless.
I remember two grawl in a story mission arguing over whos God was stronger. The “gods” were a rock, and a stick!

I wish this would be what they do with the grawl, but they’re too busy depicting them as idiot savages. All of the grawl hearts are either killing grawl worshiping the ‘wrong’ false deity, or fooling grawl into worshiping a fake god controlled by the “good” guys.
The grawl are treated as offensively one dimensionally as the ‘evil native american’ centaurs and ‘entire race of psychotic slavers’ krait.
